Long story short, he overheard Yun-Jin speaking with representatives of their studio about him not bringing in the cash with his new, edgy music anymore so naturally, he gassed the whole room, strapped them to a chair, gutted them and before he finished the job with Yun-Jin being the last woman standing, the entity took them. They are in no way, shape or form friends. For Yun-Jin, he was just something to make her rich and despite Ji-Woon appreciating that she made him a star, she doesn't mean anything to him. Before being taken, Yun-Jin even emraced her darkness and wished to take revenge on her idol for ruining her career. Read the lore bois, it's worth the effort.

The point is that Yun takes his mask off and sees the blood. That's why he doesn't wear it in game, but i do agree a variant head piece with the mask would be neat

Some of it's good but I'm still not a huge fan of this killer. He's animations are amazing but his gameplay is, well you know. The cosmetics are good but the best parts are the Halloween stuff.
