Quick things to note: most survivors aren’t directly related to their respective Killer, it’s more of a thematic similarity, in the case of Jane and The Plague, it’s the theme of figures of influence taking different paths to help people. The Plague taking her devotion to her god to kill people to appease it to stop the disease from killing her people. While Jane talked to people and gave them moral support as her profession and used her lived experiences to reach out. Also Clown’s power has been slightly modified, he now has 2 bottles, The Tonic and the Antidote. The Tonic works the way the trailer describes but the new Antidote has a delayed activation and gives the Clown and Survivors a speed boost.
Just wanted to mention some more thematic similarities between original killers and survivors: Kate and Clown both use their talents and abilities for entertainment but for different motivations. Kate wanted to spread hope and happiness through her music, while Clown just wanted to kill those who reminded him of those who messed up his childhood, or he just felt like killing. Zarina and Deathslinger were both victims of discrimination and oppression and used those experiences for different motivations. Deathslinger turned to a bloody path of vengeance and revenge, killing those connected with those who screwed him. While Zarina used her experiences to motivate her into exposing injustices and crime through her documentaries.
Fun fact: The dbd theme in the lore was a song that Kate came up with after hearing the entity or something like that. So the theme itself comes from an actual characters and also The plague is one of four killers that can speak: Plague speaks Babylonian, Nemisis has the ability to say just the singular word “STARS”, Trickster speaks Korean and Pinhead speaks English.
Deathslinger's first field test of his spear rifle lead to a bounty getting his intestines ripped out by a spear in the middle of a street. He also holds grudges and if he didn't like the person he was after, he would rub poison ivy or wrap barbed wire around the spear to do more damage
The Clown was my first ever adept win as a killer where I killed all 4 survivors just using his own perks. I played as Clown for quite a while before eventually moving on to a different one. I really don’t like going up against the Deathslinger, especially when the player knows exactly what they’re doing because it can be a brutal match. Glad to see you’re enjoying the DBD content.
A little suggestion: as nice as having playlists for the respective series is, I wouldn't mind the videos being in chronological order of you guys reacting, because I pretty much have to queue the videos in reverse order at the moment anyway to understand the order you've watched them in.
Thanks for the suggestion. We generally have it be the new ones to the top so people can see when a new video gets added easier but if it’s better watching them chronologically then we can fix that 🧐🙂
my favorite killer is the deathslinger his playstyle is just so cool seeing him shoot a far range the perks are not that good. but dead man's switch is a good perk as killer
Since you two also reacted to the Five Nights at Freddy's trailers, have you considered reacting to the fanmade Dead by Daylight Killer Spotlight of Springtrap by Rarithlynx? It's one of the best fanmade content there is for DbD and I strongly recommend it.

Both Jane and the Plague were forsaken by their parents. Jane's mother was a famous movie star who left her daughter. And Plague was left on the stairs of the temple. The Plague had worked from being a servant to being the high priestess of Babylon, and Jane had always been in the background until she stole the spotlight and became one of the most famous talk show hosts (up there with Ellen and Oprah)

Adiris (The Plague) is also called the "Vommy mommy". Just as Fun fact for you. :D Her Story is rly depressing because out of all killers she is not that bad at all. Other killers kill to please the entety or just for fun. But she has higher goals with it. :'( Hope you guys will check out the background storys of the killers they are truely great written and entertaining. Plagues vomit brings survivors in two states of disease. The first one is that caughing and vomiting one and the second is even louder and more vomiting. They also lose 1 Healthstate permanantly and cant heal until they cleanse themselfes by one of the fountains. If they do so they are healed BUT The plague can drink from the now coruppted fountain and gain a special vomit. This comit doesnt infect objects and survivors anymore BUT it now deals dmg equal to your basic attacks. So you can down them with your vomit and can hit an injure Multiple survivors at a time. For me she is the best designed killer in DBD. Beside she is a killer she is rly esthetic with her robes and dresses.
I usually play the odd killers. The nemesis, Demegorgon and Pinhead. They’re not the top killers, as in High MMR or rank wise, but if you know how to use them, they can be really good.

Most survivors have no direct connection to their respective killers. Some however do, for example, Nea and The Nurse, and Yun Jun-Lee and The Trickster.
Also they did forget to mention when a survivor cleanses their sickness the pools of devotion become corrupted and the plague can approach the pools and ingest the corruption to gain a bloody vomit that can injure survivors from a distance😄
The spotlight trialers are my favourite of all the dead by daylight videos, so I can't wait to see more. Are you guys into history, or do you know a lot about a certain time period? I kind of get that vibe but I might be wrong
The Plague is definitely my favorite killer. I love her design and play style. The Clown is also one of my favorites to play as. He's fun to try to out play people by making paths harder for them to run through. None of the survivors here are my favorites personally. Head On is a really fun perk though.

fun facts:Plague (Adiris) cut off one of her toes as a offering to help cleanse a woman of the plauge Clown has 2 different identitys because he changed his original name (Kenith Chase) to Jeffery Hawk when he started killing When Deathslinger was offered the imprisonment of his employer who stole his inventions, he formed a gang of inmates called "The Hellshire Riders", he was also shot in the jaw during a shoot-out, which is reference in his power add on "Jaw Smasher"
They mentioned in their community post that they’re gonna wait until the Sadako Rising chapter releases in March when her respective Spotlight Trailers releases!
Fun(?) Fact: The Clown’s horse Maurice, (you saw a glimpse of Maurice in Clown’s Spotlight trailer) has canonically been consumed by the Dredge. During the idle animation when waiting for a match to be found you’ll see Maurice’s head flop out of Dredge’s smoke before being pulled back in.
Really fun to watch your reactions on this Triple Trailer Tuesday! I am glad to have seen you two enjoy the spotlight videos even more than I had first expected you to, especially the Chains Of Hate one, which I did expect Ken to particularly enjoy, and I was definitely right about that haha. Seeing him smile once the chapter and map name was shown was simply delightful. I really liked the retrospective at the end and you guys sharing your thoughts and reasonings on which killer you think was the most scary/interesting and which you'd personally like to play. Have you guys ever done/considered doing a Dead by Daylight livestream? I think a lot of people would enjoy seeing you play it! Definitely some moments of horror and humor to be had while doing so. More Dead by Daylight, yay!!! Love the spotlights, love all the killers. Of these three, my favorite is the definitely the Deathslinger. Here's the thing about DBD's original killers, I'd love to see a movie of each chapter. I mean, they have the title, killer, main character (survivor), full history and lore, so why not? Don't get me wrong, the game is sweet as it is, but movies for each killer would be cool if done right. Cheers!!!
Surprised Netflix hasn’t jumped all over this. They love making horror films. Although I’m sure they kinda burned a bridge pulling their characters from this game to make their own video games. But you are on to something there 🤔🤩🤑
So the survivors are rarely connected to killers. They are all pulled in from different time periods by "the entity" It forces them to survive and kill to appease it every day

I miss these. I believe the last chapter spotlight was The Binding Of Kin Chapter. Now when we get a new chapter we get this short video with no voice lines that does a bad job explaining anything. It’s a shame as it was a thing I would be excited for when a new chapter was released.
We do need to check out the new killers Mori. Pinhead and The Artist aren’t in the big compilation we did but we did see their Moris in their respective videos we covered 🙂

The killers and the survivors aren’t always related or whatever. They are just characters. Something they are but usually it’s only the licensed killer and survivors, ie stranger things demo, Nancy and Steve 🙂
If you liked the 40k stuff, you should look into watching some Battletech vids. Its like Game of Thrones in space, but with mechs. Been around since the 80s. Tex Talks are probably the best options, though there are a few others.
