@@CubanB47 I’m sorry but it gets worse… - You can make it easier by finding weapons and skills you like with the same color/stat - Shields are your friend - Choose one scroll stat (brutality, tactics, or survival) and stick with it because damage is exponential - Get weapons and skills that work well together (face flask + vengeance mutation) Good luck, I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!!

Great question! I left those out because the update is only in beta and hasn't made its way to console or mobile, so I haven't had a chance to try everything out myself. I also know a lot of folks who come to the channel aren't playing the beta so that may have added some confusion if they saw content they don't have in their game. If/when the update finally gets to consoles I'm going to make a video talking about the items and the curse gameplay mechanics so things will be up to date.

@@hakankemalgunel7876 I left that out for spoiler reasons but I enjoy it! I don't use it seriously but sometimes when I'm playing a run for fun I'll grab it on a Brutality build with Combo and will try to roll +60% to bleed and then take Open Wounds. It's a lot of fun to use against bosses like final Dracula and Mama Tick. I'd put it in the "Sometimes" category. It's also a great way to spend your cells on 5BC after everything is unlocked. I find myself making green runs more often, just because I love the mutations there, even though I'm more of a red player overall. That said...new DG video? Time to chill
If i had to choose what combo is the best (for me) it is melee paired with predator. That makes the game so easy especially in later biomes. Melee will allow me to easily defeat a enemy witout being hit and predator lets me attack a enemy before they noticed me. Slap on Combo for extra damage. Great video as always.

I had a Rapier IV-S with double damage FROM THE START (around 111000 damage for one crit) and beat the collector with it for the first time without taking damage……somehow, and got the final 3 PS5 achievements to 100% the game. The setup was: - Rapier (double damage) - Legendary Glaive - Bloodthirsty Shield (backpack usually) - Face Flask - Corrupted Power - Vengeance - Frenzy - Velocity For Boss fights - Vengeance - Scheme - Melee 31 brutality 5 tactic 6 survival
My favorite mutations lately have to do with the Hokuto bow. It used to BE the meta back in the day, but after the nerf a lot of people forgot about it. With Barbed Tips, and the changes to networking it's become ridiculously strong again, even by itself. Barbed tips procs the Hokuto effect. Networking procs the effect on other enemies with the mark (make sure you get the pierce affix). Add in something like the fire brands and electrodynamics and you can just shoot once, run, and everything around you dies. It's pretty easy to get poison on hit with the hokuto or boomerang (which can be backpacked with acrobatipack) to add to the DOT.
It's nice to see some love for Hokuto! Sometimes items get nerfed and people just totally forget about it, which is a shame since it's still so good. Alchemic Carbine got a nerf but I still use that, too. Your build/mutation choices are great. While I was waiting for my videos to render earlier I had a run that used Hokuto's Bow, Boomerang, Electrodynamics, and Swarm (which is oddly strong with extra DOT). Perfect timing for this comment!
@@DisappointedGiant oh yeah, it’s great with swarm too. The owl is awesome for procing it too. I was thinking about a big brain run with hokuto, tactical retreat, crows foot and frostbite. Definitely not optimal but could be fun. But yeah the hokuto, firebrands, electrodynamics with those mutations is even cheesier than bat builds 😂
