I just got my first boss cell ❤ your 0bc vid was very helpful in teaching me proper thinking and helped me to not waste cells early on. I hope to beat 1bc soon, but i wanted to say thankyou for your hardwork and for helping us get better ❤
The thing about spiked boots is that the best thing about them isn't just the damage. The second attack shoots you up in the air quite a bit and allows you to momentum buffer/bounce much higher. Try it with throwing knife.
I love survival because I started to love slow weapons. There is a unique satisfaction you get when using them to clear multiple enemies at once. Scythe Claw gang 4 life <3
Video idea: Try heading into cutsom mode qnd turn on every single option possible. Every single modifier possible, no matter if it makes the run harder or easier For stuff, where you input a number, you can use a random number generator or smth It's really hard, but extremely chaotic and one of the most fun things I've ever done in Dead Cells And if you fancy the idea and maybe do a video about it My online name is Karvail Anyways, I personally really enjoy these long form videos from you and other Dead Cells creators Perfect thing for me to watch while eating LMAO
Those modifiers are pretty fun! I haven't done a run like that in a while but I'll have to give it another go. I'll likely make some more accessible videos coming up but will keep this in mind. Thank you for the suggestion!
Some of the items from the bottom of my tier list are not in this video, like Death's Scythe and Iron Staff. If something is missing here it's because I've used those items a bunch since the tier list(s) were published and didn't feel right using them in this run. Sewing Scissors 4 life <3
There’s a telltale sign with me that I’m REALLY into a game, and that’s if I’m researching it extensively. I played the game on mobile maybe a year ago by connecting a controller, and it was really fun! But I never did much more than playing. After building my computer and trying to get into streaming, I got a strong urge to play dead cells. And this time, holy shit- I’m in deep 😭 if I’m grinding for an item, you are the default channel I put on man. Hours of content, and just such a real person with little editing. I’m ngl I think your videos have helped cement dead cells in one of my top 3 games of all time. Edit: I also want to add that your collab with Modesto was top tier, I can’t believe that I sat through an hour and a half of a relatively normal 5bc run, but your guys chemistry was just phenomenal Keep up the work bro, I appreciate the content

I’m hoping to even make content around it sometime depending on if this current fixation keeps up, I have so much to learn from everyone in the community. I’m in deep!
PoPtWW is one of the quickest games I ever beat. I just got absorbed into it for a couple of days, Half-life style. It's the best of the franchise. Arkane AF
There are some that you find in lore rooms that will be automatically added to your weapon pool but most of them require you to get a blueprint for it and then unlock it from the Collector with your cells.
This game got me hooked. I saw videos of it for weeks and never found it to be interesting, mindless hack and slash and poor graphics. Then I gave it two runs chance. Now I don't get enough sleep if I make the mistake of start playing it after dinner. It's a hard game or I'm a complete zero on it. You speak about beating three or four bosses in a rol and most of the times when I reach a boss that took me an hour to get there I die in five seconds without understanding why, what to do, what was the bloody attack that got me and with all HP flasks because I didn't had the chance to use them. Most of the times I feel I just suck at the game. And I can't let go of it. I have 53 years old, I play games since 12, but watching your gameplay makes me feel like a noob...
Keep with it, you'll get in the groove! You can also practice bosses in the training room if you want to get more comfortable with their attacks so you can get some wins.
Personally if you turn on all assist mode and custom and go in boss rush highest difficulty you can grind 200+ cells in 5min each make sure it’s highest boss rush at your highest boss cell and you can get quite a few cells though it is quite repetitive so that’s what I do for quick cells. R.I.P Darrell we will miss you 😢
This is very helpful, since for some reason the game decided to wipe my blueprints. I haven't played for 2 years and I come back to basically nothing but my progression upgrades. Sucks so much actually
It took me 30 hours (According to steam) to beat 5bc twice. 5bc generally gets significantly more consistint as I played and got overall more fun. Tbh 5bc is the best part of dead cells.
I must defend Hand hook(I don't even like it but I like it more than emergency door), emergency door exists that thing actually bad. tip don't even waste the cells for this
I've come around with Hand Hook since I recorded this video. I like it! Not great but it is fun. I hear you about the Door but I still like that one, too.

Everything you can get on 0BC you can get on 1BC but it might be helpful to play on 0BC until you unlock all of your meta upgrades (flasks, recycling, etc.) and fill up the + on the Forge.
