The king's death confused me. Apparently : 1) The HOTK has no time to raise the shield around the king. 2) You need the symmetric lance only to break the shield, not to kill the king. 3) The king's death sequence just happens to assume you wield it.
Hotk places the shield in his starting animation, so it wouldnt be there if the guy skipped it. Like what? You think motion twin rendered killing animation for the king with every weapon for people who skipped the boss fight
I'm just chilling having a good time watching this run giving nothing but props for movement. Then as soon as we reach HOTK I practically spit out my drink trying to figure out wtf happened lmao. I've never known this was possible just Lightspeed blitzing past the Hand to skip the boss entirely. Cool video nonetheless lol
I greatly commend this grind. Having tried and failed this 100s of times, I know how hard this is. This was very enjoyable to watch and just inspired me to keep trying to succeed in a speed run.
I thought you can only do a boss skip with the javelin turns out I'm very wrong lol. My best is 17 min but one day I'll get there, this was an amazing run.
Hi, I’m interested in getting this game. Is it similar to hades where you get new boons each run kind of thing, maybe elemental? I’ve been on the fence with this one, watching gameplay isn’t convincing enough, idk man.
This was like literally watching a whole length film on THE HUB and right when you finally get the the money shot… it just rolls the credits. Damn man talk about 🔵🔵
Watching him run past those enemies that keep dashing toward you in the Promenade…I used a teleporter to get away from the enemy who pulls you toward him once he sees you and he literally teleported me from two thirds across the map back to him 😑 and subsequently ended my run too 🤦🏽♂️
Oh i tried the lightspeed trick but it doesn't work. Because now if you wait too long on the reverse move(the blue one) it will vanish and the cooldown will reset to 7 seconds. And even if you use the blue move it would still have the 7 seconds cooldown. That's unfortunate
The hint for that is the small T that shows up at 5:00 - that tells you the exit is in one of the underground sections past the T. If I didn't encounter one, it'd always be to the far right on the surface.
My runs are all random seed unless specified. I have one seeded run on my channel (I think), and it might even be unlisted, just to have a submitted run
