just like mine just picked up a used weedeater sv200bv feels like no compression has new plug and spark took apart the carb and cleaned still no start took the carb spacer check ok , took the exhaust off ok poss siezed ring
yes i am soaking in CLR solution over night , Clean together , trying to get by without using New ring . Question ? why you replace the RING ??? the old one Broke ? if the CLR does not work then i use Oven Cleaner .
Google search CLR cleaner , like a rust remover . after 8 hrs soaking in it cleaned the Carbon of piston . like new !!! if does not work will try Diesel fuel , or Donny Boy with heat
How did you know the model number of the piston ring? I have a similar blower with low compression (70 psi) but the parts diagrams don't show components w/in the engine itself. :( BTW - great video!
first off that a waste of time,is a scored piston,nobody would do that,just replace piston and ring what your doing is a waste of time you must be new at this.it is not worth saving,just do the right thing let a professional do it
Not to mention orienting the piston with the arrow on top pointing toward the exhaust port, and the tedious installation of the cylinder rubber gasket.
