This evening I took the Kubota KX-057-4 Excavator out in the Woods and took down a dead and dangerous tree that has been dropping limbs on the trail. There wasn't much keeping this tree standing

Hey Mike. I’m from the Akron Ohio area. We have construction everywhere! 15 minutes ago I just happen to pull up in an intersection where a guy was working with an excavator. He was trying to spread out a pile of rock. He needed a tutorial from you. Mad skills!

Richard here - that was a zombie tree "Dead tree standing" You could have spit at it and it may have fallen. Love the way you can work that excavator - you got a shovel, hoe, plow, dozer, grader , and then some - now I want to see you pick up a dime and nothing else with it. You are a MASTER with your equipment. I sometimes hit the wrong nail with a hammer - ouch! Another great video in the books - stay safe and have a day!

When I use to take the Boy Scouts camping, it was important to survey the campsite and make sure there weren't any "widow maker" trees in the area. If we found one, we would take it down or move to a different site to camp.

Can't stand the grape vines or in the last 10 or 15 years I have seen a new, fast growing vine that takes over too. Horrible when taking down a tree for firewood. Nice work on the trail... leveling it up. Same here(Darlington) on the weather. I kind of sat around expecting rain that never happened. oh well, I did get to take the dog for a couple mile walk at the south beaver park at least. My bird dog hasn't produce any birds yet but she is heck on finding lost baseballs at the ball fields. I collect them, give them back to the kids who turn around and lose them again... so we can find them... etc etc. circle of life. haha
