After removing the cylinder heads, it's apparent that the #2 piston struck the exhaust valves and bent them. That's why they won't close. The next video will show the heads off and we'll inspect the pistons, bores, head gasket etc. There's a lot of damage so the engine casings are trashed. I'll try to salvage what I can and try to make these videos more streamlined. I'm still getting used to talking to myself on camera 😅
@@spacecityryder I had a look here in the uk. Not cheap at all. Not sure what’s it’s like over you side but it’s almost worth buying a whole bike over here
@@radiocrash Yea I'm looking at about $2k for one. I can recoup some of that by parting out the original engine. Shouldn't be too bad. The rest of the bike is in excellent condition.
