I like to think the infection spread fast due to him jogging, getting his heart pumping, blood flowing faster throughout the body, thus accelerating the infection Idk if thats how it works irl with real viruses but idk
It'd very much depend on the type of infection it is. Virus's bacteria or spore all act differently in the body. Then there's when he got bit, which my guess was the day before else he'd not be jogging outside. Everyone else is already infected around him just before he turned, so I will guess that the running did not accelerate the infection and infact time is all that was needed. Now there is the idea that a virus can get through the blood brain barrier then your screwed (y'know like rabies) and it takes some time to do that... So maybe the running allowed the infection to get to the brain where it was able to find it's way through the blood brain barrier. I been thinking a lot about these sort of infections and how they would manifest as I enjoy writing, but I also like the idea that you learn more about the virus and understand what happened for something to turn civilization upside down, so the most reasonable (IMO) is something close to rabies due to where it perpetrates or using the "Last of Us" idea from having spores as there is already evidence of spores taking over specific insects, in the end our brains are just chemicals and electricity, all one must do is understand how each affect the brain and be able to attack a specific part of the brain to turn you into a mindless zombie.
@@alexcsr6450 I actually never thought about this due it it being a toxin, but once again it's a chemical process.. Though how would it work, destroy all the brain except the part that requires food? And why do they not attack each other if so, unless it keeps the side of us that see each other as different cos of country xD
Blood born pathogens move very very quickly. If you get bit on your hand, the blood will get to your heart within half a second. Our blood vessels move the equivalent of 200 miles per hour if they were the size of a human.
techland and deep silver had a falling out the game was scrapped towards the end of production and is now being re-produced under techland and sumo digital
@@probably_siyun I agree man there should be a fucking limitation I bet they spend about good solid tens of thousands of dollars actually in hundreds of thousands...it really sucks
@Judewhohasacrestedgecko I know, but it's not always the case, cyberpunk's cinematic trailer definitely looks a lot better than the game's graphics, the way 3D software renders 3D scenes is vastly different to how game engines do so, since game engines have to do an awful lot of calculations at runtime, while 3D renders will calculate lights, reflections, etc, and take all their time between each frame (which can last from 2 to 6 minutes per frame). The fact that we've reached a point where real-time graphics can look up to par, or even better, than pre-rendered graphics is amazing. Lastly, it's also so nice that a game's graphics exceed the setup expectations from cinematic trailers too, that's a nice plus lol.
Dead Island 2 Trailer is possibly the first video game trailer I’ve seen and it’s so creative. I love the idea of people turning in the background while this runner slowly turns himself.
"Yeah... I wouldnt be so happy about it" "¿What do you mean? ¿Its the end of the world?" "Similar, there is a pandemic virus that killed a lot of people in the last years, and your family suffered the lose of your relatives" "Oh... thats terrible... but Dead Island 2 is out right?" "Nope" "NOOOOOOOOOooooooo"
@@Linkfan007 its kind of wacky humour wise, Dying Light was made by some of the same people and has similar combat if you take the parkour element out of it. Standard knife with poison, fire, electricity that kind of thing. Its a fusion between beat up, horror and dead rising i guess. dont expect hordes of zombies though.
The craziest thing to me is that I was hyped for both this game and Cyberpunk 2077. I never thought that this game would spend even longer in development hell after being announced. I was finishing up elementary school when both were revealed, I was a senior in high school when Cyberpunk released, and now this game is out as I'm half way through my engineering degree and actually working in the field. It's crazy how fast time flies and both trailers give me happy memories.
8 años ......solo tuvimos que esperar 8 años para poder jugar este juego, muchos no tuvieron la suerte de poder verlo , asi que sintamonos afortunados y disfrutenos este gran juego
You know what's cool is how close the final product looks to this trailer despite the nine year development. The zombies look and move almost exactly like this, I'm pretty sure this exact street is even in the game.
This guy is the definition of Chad. How to run like a boss 101. Most catchy trailer ever. This game was in development for so long I was wondering if it ever was coming to the surface but thankfully it did. Props to Dead Island 2 and for existing finally in video game form. If I get one day of jogging where I enjoy it as much as this dude did right here I'll die a happy man.
The coolest thing about this trailer is the fact it actually still holds up to the tone the game has now, even though the game was essentially remade from scratch a few years ago when it was in development hell.
@@spacecowboy8295 I mean the tone and story. It never evoked half the emotions that the teaser evoked. Compare the tone of the teaser to the tone of the final product and you'll see that they're nothing alike. Deep Silver flat-out lied about how the game's tone and story would be.
The trailer is a good representation of the development. It started out good, then began to fall apart and now all whats left is a nice advertisement to look at.
I think its going to run the same sad state as duke nukem.....10 years to come out then they keep switching developers too....not looking good....might be a shit game lol
I was 10 years old when I saw this trailer, today I'm 18 years old and I'm about to play Dead Island 2, this is incredible man. No words to describe what I'm feeling
The development hell the workers passed, it's insane, and taking in count that this game avoided cancelation and when it was realised it was solid, it's incredible
This Dead Island 2 Trailer is probably one of the most creative game trailers I have seen disregarding the fact it took 8 years for it to actually release.
It's great to see this Dead Island gameplay! I love this game, and I recently created a video on its evolution over the years. If you're interested in the history of this incredible game, I invite you to watch my video on my profile. I would love to hear your thoughts on what I discovered in my research. Thanks for this awesome gameplay
It took me this long to realize the guy was the one on the billboard; he was a fitness trainer, who actually just had plastic surgery to make himself look buff (the white blob that fell out of his arm was an implant) EDIT: I also noticed he even got plastic in his nose.
