Brecken:These Zombies....There...Hard to kill...i...i lost my squad and nearly died my self... Crane:Hey guys just came back from a solo night run what's up
Brecken: *loses entire squad to a few virals, biters, a couple of volatiles and Rais’s guys* Crane: *slaughters the entire zombie population of Old town and The Slums, clears out all the Quarantine Zones, and wipes out a horde of Volatiles...On his own...At night...With a Shotgun and a Baseball Bat...*
I just realized that this trailer is related to the early main story quests, when it was said that Brecken lost all of his crew runners during the night raid and got beaten by Rais' men near the airdrop.
Honestly respect for Brecken for being able to start an entire community, somehow teach half of it's residents to be master parkour athletes, AND keep everything under control during a zombie pandemic in 2 weeks
No this happens before Crane met the Tower people. You know when I think Brecken told Crane that he had a couple of runners with him to catch an aidrop somewhere in town and a guy hit him in the head with a bat? Well, that's Brecken and that's why there's cloth wrapped around his head.
+Sempy That's after Crane meets the residents of the Tower. It's after you set those night traps for Brecken's mission to collect supplies from an airdrop.
I think Crane is secretly a body builder because he can hold a metal pipe with a concrete block on the head and swing it like swinging a stick with marshmallow
Brecken: I lost my team to those zombies Crane: yeah just came back from killing 5 demolisher 12 goones 184 biters and 59 virals and only went through 1 med kit
@@cosmicwolf9149 it's not like a time paradox where Crane is fighting the future version of himself Night Hunters are just a rare mutation like Volatiles, Goons etc.
@@explosiveswine7354 lol no night hunter its not a mutation, posibly, Crane later of drink all the potions of Dahlia and after drinking the "cure" in The Following the most posibly thing that can happened is that after drink the potions and the "cure" of The Following, well. He become the night hunter
This game has came such a long way. So glad it's one of the best games, techland may not have the best storytelling capabilities but damn they can make addictive game play all damn year
When i found out that it was Brecken's Mission, i was like Step 1. Watch it again Step 2. Confirm Step 3. Confirmed Step 4. Go play the game all over again
Brecken: (struggling to kill zombies) Me: (proceeds to possess Rahim with Crane’s abilities via legend level, to make him an unstoppable killing machine)
Fun fact: dying light was supposed to be like dead island where you could play as 4 different characters. One was crane, then Jade, then Rahim, then Brecken. You were supposed to be able to play as all of them, instead Brecken and Rahim are just costumes
Try watching Gooldy G’s Dying Light GMV/Tribute, he used the song Runnin’ By Adam Lambert WARNING: you might get emotional when watching it, especially if you’ve completed the story
“Crane.” “Listen, Brecken and a team of runners went after an air drop last night.” “He lost the rest of the team to biters, then Rais’ men ambushed him, beat him to a pulp and stole the drop.” So this is basically what happened to Brecken and his team of runners
HOLY SHT Just noticed that when u first meet Brecken in game, his head is bandaged up right where he was hit in the trailer. Now that is attention to detail
Isn't this the first part of the game were Brecken went to get the drop. He came back and lost all his runners with no antizen and was beaten up pretty bad
Jamie Ravenhill they went during the night because brecken yolo'd when their friend guy (forgot his name) said that the airdrop is only coming at dusk and said was suicide
The Run boy Run song and this game were a match made in heaven. This trailer still gives me the chills, especially the part where Brecken mourns the loss of his crew member but continues climbing because the people under his command will turn if he doesn't make it back. I really wish they built on the Brecken arc a little bit more, he should have been a playable character.
Did you know: the tunnel in which brecken is getting chased (the one with the volatiles in the end) is the same tunnel where the volatiles chase you before you kill rais
Well, assumption is one of the greatest mistakes you can do that leads to failure. He let his guard down because he thought it was safe. Who does that in a zombie apocalypse while forgetting that other humans will be hostile?!?!? Who!?!?!?
every time. EVERY DAME TIME!!!! WHY R SOME PEOPLE SUCH JARK'S!!!??? I TRAVELED FOR DAYS(in the game(a very long time.)AND WHEN I WAS MORE THEN HALF WAY THERE SOME ONE ALREADY THERE!!!! OMG!!!!
I mean, Volatiles are hard to kill early game but that's about it. Once you max Power and Survivor, you should have enough high-damage weapons that you could take on a few Volatiles.
@@sethseth916 what weapon are you using it took me like 10 shots with a double barrel shotgun just to take down one in the following DLC and I just jumped back and forth from a safe zone.
@@ultranero2678 Point blank headshot to them oneshots them on nightmare difficulty. Might be assisted through the 10 levels I currently have in the firearms legendary rank but still. Once you find a semi auto shotgun, that firerate should keep em at bay just fine. Just watch the ammo haha
So it takes them to go through a random house and the sewers just to get to an air drop which i assume took hours, but it takes crane like 10 rooftops in 5 min. Still love the game do:D
It should also be mentioned that the sewers are a dark zone... or at least by lore. Some random encounter in the game told me that the sewers act as a hub for volatiles and virals.
I just finished it. I read on gamefaq that it takes an average person something like 8 hours to beat it. It took me 8 hours to work up the nerve to leave the rooftops. And alot longer to work up the nerve to be out past dark. I couldn't put this game down during my free time.
