Dead Island 2 Game vs Real Life L.A Comparison 

I’m glad they made us wait so long to release the game. They definitely took their time with this one

@@bijonbrown1344 it could have been better, not saying its a bad game but i wish there was more. The story wasn’t really all there and the maps were kinda small, and the replay value on it isn’t much either at the moment, with no new game plus theres nothing to do after you platinum the game and 100% it, the performance and graphics are top notch tho, it is a fun game

​@@LakotaLaneyea I agree with you,it needs more story content .I say it kinda felt like cyberpunk cause on that game I felt the story was too short for me😅.Anyways im hoping the expansion dlc will do good.

@@bijonbrown1344Ummm. .. The game completely switched developers 3 times. Dambuster Studios re-made the whole game from scratch and released it in the span of 3-4 years GLITCH FREE, after it was in developmental hell with the other studios. That is honestly no longer than most triple A titles. The old version was outdated and last gen. I can’t believe there are so many NPC’s that don’t realize this, and complain about “how long it took”.

it looks better to me than dying light 2. lol DL2 looks horrible. not even next gen. dead island 2 looks good.. also, so does back 4 blood. back 4 blood for me is one of the best lookin PS5 games, the lighting is really good in night time scenes. dead island 2 is on that same level. some areas in dead island 2 *do* look very realistic, i assume the game runs on the unreal 5 engine. i dunno if the game is running any kind of ray tracing, but, in some scenes, it looks like it. i just hope the game gets some DLC and its in more wild locations, like the large underground tunnels we saw in GTA 5 for example or the mountain/desert areas and hilly/foresty areas maybe.

@@retrogamer8085 you must be one of those people mentioned above. Both games look phenomenal. And DL2 pulls it off on an open world scale which is impressive.

@@retrogamer8085 Dying light 2 doesnt look that bad imo but the important difference is DL2 is full open world, so if it looked as good as Dead Island 2 it would be much harder to run. I would like to see dlc that adds a real island, like something from first games. Its suppose to be Dead "island" after all lol

@@mandrews6282 lol im not anyone "mentioned above" - i played DL2 on the PS5 day one. was graphically abominable bro. i had buddies saying the same and they're bigger fans of DL than i am. it was literally 1080p, blur, low res textures. if they've fixed DL2 since then? good. but when it released? gabrage. dead island 2 on release day is leaps and bounds beyond DL2. people were all over utube and reddit saying the same thing, how terrible the game looked and janky performance day one.

i play gta 5 in first person mode only (except in cars, its on auto 3rd person at that point). but this looks better than gta 5 at that same pier/beach location. this feels like gta 5 with a zombie DLC or something.

GTA 5 was released in 2013, so I don’t know what you even expect

I still have no idea why rockstar chooses to make their places entirely fictional like it's so much cooler seeing a place in real life depicted in a game
