Joe Genaro about this song two years ago. "That song came about after Dean Clean gave me the music and asked if I could write words to it. I got the idea to call it Jason's Head after a friend of mine named Jason Head said I should write a song about him. However, it is not in any way a song about my friend, Jason. I simply used his name as inspiration. There was no event that inspired the song. It is a work of fiction meant to conjure up cheap horror movie images in the mind of the listener."
OMG that makes a lot more sense than what I had thought.. it's like the lyrics somewhat remind me of Friday the 13th but there's parts of it that are in no way parallel to the series
