So glad you have cover for your beautiful new truck. She's thankful I am sure. Talk away my dear, it's so nice to watch you do the simple life. (but you work so HARD). I feel blessed finding you and your family thru Lester. Have a small almost non-existence family, so I feel part of yours somehow. Much Love.
Good morning Kim! I have found that with the rubber maid water tanks don’t last long…our ended up cracking from sitting in the sun and the animals rubbing up against it while full of water. I did find a brand that has lasted the past 15 years. It’s called Tuff Stuff Heavy Duty Stock Tank. It’s a rubber type material that doesn’t crack or get pin holes. There is also a drain that you can unplug with a screw driver to unscrew the brass plug. The 110 gallon is $80.00 at Tractor Supply. I highly recommend this one over the rubber maid and galvanized tanks. Oh…BTW…when they are upside down they are strong enough to handle my 300lb boar goat buck jumping up and down on it! He loves helping me clean it! 🤣
Good Wednesday morning 🙋♀️ 🐕 Kim and Levi. Hope your goats are better soon. Lester and Jami lost Chip ( goat ) at LHL'S. He had a blockage. I would dread getting a snake out of the chicken coop. You are amazing at everything you do. GOD bless. ❤
Good job tending to the goats and cleaning their little house. You work so hard and are always doing something - when do you just kick back and enjoy? I have faith that Steph's ferns will look beautiful when they get back.
Good morning Kim,your porch is so pretty with the red chairs, ferns and all the leaf your put around. Had to laugh about Steph’s ferns. So glad the babies are getting better, everybody’s goats have been sick.Hope you got you work done in that heat and you can cool off in the pool. Thanks for sharing.
Whew! I am tired just thinking about you having to do all those things!! LOL! I do love the walk abouts with you. It is very entertaining and very interesting. Take care out in that heat.! Love your porch! I bet those ferns will recover and be beautiful after 3 weeks in your care. Have a wonderful day!
Hi Kim, I bought 2 ferns at Walmart for $14 this spring and I keep one out in sun all day and one on a covered porch. As long as I water everyday they stay green and lush. It must be because I’m in zone 4/5. I love the look of ferns. I have hanging baskets of wave petunias too that I love.. the color and fragrance is beautiful. They are all annuals here. I might try bringing in my fern this fall to see if I can keep it alive through the winter. Your water trough might need some “flex tape” to seal that leak. I’m pup sitting this week for my sons 2 little girls. Their home has many luxuries mine doesn’t so it’s like I’m staying at a luxury resort this week. I water their flowers, tend to the veggie garden and play with the “girls”. I stop at my home once a day to check on my home and garden. I’m 20 minutes away. I’ve always wanted a pool like yours but never in my budget. I have an 8’ long by 2’ deep rectangle one I might set up this summer to just lay in. I have a 6 ft privacy fence around my yard but now that my neighbors 2 story home became a rental property I know if I get in that pool I’ll have an audience from the second story . I’d love to live more rural like you but can’t afford to move right now. Enjoy your day Kim!
Glad your little goats are getting better. Lester lost one of his adult ones…he was so sad & cried when he did Jami’s Time out Tuesday for her last night. She had to get back home because of a family emergency with her grandma. 🙏 Hope you find that snake & send it bye bye.
The ferns look great. Never had luck with ferns. Last year I got an amaryllis and it bloomed around Christmas. Put it in a box and when it started growing out of the box, planted it. It just finished blooming. Have never saved one before that bloomed again. You are really great at everything you do.
Hi Kim. I am glad that you were treating the goats for cocsidia, I am not sure how to spell that. I think Chip, Lesters goat just passed away for the same thing. I think Bri was one that noted what was spreading around all the pastures. It's sad though that Lester lost his baby. It hurts all of us when we lose one of them or any animal on the farms. I have become a big lover of goats. I really never thought of thier personalities, until I started watching Ima Survivor. But my love for goats really came out when Lester took in Journey. Boy did I fall in love. I at that point couldn't get enough of her. She was such an amazing animal , and I think she taught many people across this world, to learn to overcome. I was amazed when that little girl couldn't walk , to walking on two front legs , and then running like a speed bullet on all legs, she blew me away. Her personality was very , very special. When we got the news that she had passed with only living for a short 4 months, it broke my heart and I think I cried for a few days , when watching all the memories that were shown of her. I still think of her. I love all the animals on Morrow hill. I love each and every one of them. I feel like a lucky person to have had the pleasure of knowing you all. You are all caring, loving and compassionate people. I hope one day I could meet each and every one of you. Love you guys ❤
Journey was the most beautiful little goat. She overcame so much. She was quite content if she could see Lester but oh boy could she scream if she couldn't find him. My favourite memory of her is when Lester lifted her on to the hay rolls so she could see what the other little goats could see. I've never forgotten Lester saying she may not live for very long but she would have the best life he could give her. I think a lot of hearts were broken the day she crossed the rainbow bridge.
This is the first year I’ve not bought ferns. They were so dang expensive here and they looked horrible! Don’t know how ferns are suppose to be watered but I pour water in them until water runs out the bottom 😅 I water everyday during the hottest days of summer. Yours are beautiful!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Good morning Kim ❤and Levi 💙 Kim...the keeper of the ferns 🌿 The work that you get done is incredible! If I ever get my health back I want to grow up and be just like you! ❤ With this heat I hope you don't overdue it and you take plenty of breaks. I hope your goats get to feeling better soon. I hope y'all enjoy your day
Good Morning Kim. You are doing so good helping your babies feel better. The water hose, oh my. I just had to buy a new one. With AZ heat/sun I bought a 100 foot Rubber hose. With tax it was almost $100.00. What a shock. It better last years. Hope you don't have a snake, if you do that you can get rid of it. Have a wonderful day. Sending my love to you and Levi ❤.
Sister Kim, we may need to change your title to: Dr Kim-Plant Doctor Extraordinare. ☺️ So glad you put a Video out today, I could watch your Videos everyday. Hopefully your idea will fix the water trough. Praise God the little goats are doing so much better. Thank You for blessing Us and sharing your everyday life with Us. 🙏🏻💕
Hi Kim and Levi, Your porch and y are looks good. You are a hard worker. I love seeing the baby goats getting their bottles, they whip it down. I enjoyed this video . Have a good day ❤🙏
You are more of a caregiver than you know, plants need you, people need you, animals need you!! I like the way you try to make things work, you are even thinking while you talk, I'd need a brain rest! You're amazing 😊
Prayers for Katee and Kacee to feel better soon.🙏🙏 Lester and Jami lost one of their goats but he got dehydrated. I don’t know how long you have had that water trough but I would try to take it back and get a refund. You did an amazing job cleaning their house to sanitize it. You are an amazing woman in everything you do!!❤️❤️ Hope you and Levi have a great day ❤️❤️
Hey Kim, I love the sweet relationship you have with all of your Family! You're an awesome Mother in law, too! Much love for you & Levi from South Carolina! God is so Great!❤❤❤
Kim here my heart, I feel so sorry for the way Minky has to live. Respectfully I am not sure why you keep him in a small dirty stinky confined space during the heat of summer and rain. He always looks so dirty and unkept. Why not find him a better home where he can be pampered and live inside and not get eaten by mosquitoes. You never give him any love or attention or bath or any kind of care. While other animals like Molly, Katie and others get showered with love and attention. If you dislike Minky so much then let him go to a better home. Kim, you really have neglected Minky. Maybe Lester could take him, he loves dogs and treats all his dogs like Royalty. Respectfully suggested with no disrespect intended. #letMinkyGo
Minky doesn't live in a smelly , stinky place, nor is Minky neglected. Just because Kim doesn't film herself loving on Minky doesn't mean she doesn't care for him. You say you mean no disrespect then accuse her of neglect.. What you've said is very hurtful and untrue.
Hi Kim. I'm in NW LOWER MICHIGAN, and we just had a big storm. Power was out for over 20 hrs. The weatherman called it a Meteotsunami. I'm 74 and have never heard of such a thing. ❤ you and Levi. 😊
Kim you are a special lady, no matter what it is you can help but to recuse it.. You'll have it healthy in no time. Always thinking about your animals. have a blessed day.
You are always busy getting your work done. Im sure Stephs ferns will be looking very nice by the time they get back home. I hope Katee and your other baby are getting better and are healthy soon. That water trough has given you so much trouble. I hope you can get that leak all sealed up. What a headache thats been for you. I hope you get your pool all cleaned up so you can jump in when you get over heated. You and Levi have a great day.❤
Hi Kim, Thanks for showing all the aspects of farm life. The good, the not so good 🐍 and the 💩. You keep it real, and I like that. Katee & Kaycee are adorable. 🙏 for Kaycee to be back to normal. I hope the Flexi works on the water trough. They shouldn't be selling them if their not good. 😕 Those Ferns will be loved by an expert. They might not want to go home. 😀 ❤&🙏
Kim I'm so glad the baby goats are doing better it's a long job glad the treatment worked and they are pooping pellets like normal. ❤❤ Please becareful in the heat kim its not good doing to much in that heat.❤❤
Hi Kim and Levi. Never a dull moment in the Kim’s world always something that needs to be done. Busy Kim with one thing or another well done with all you achieve your garden looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing have a wonderful day take care and God bless 💕🙏
Kayce and Katee look so cute together. I'm glad you got him from Pops. I hope you get the water trough fixed from the leak. It's horrible you pay so much money and then you have to repair it. Your yard is so pretty. I love all that space. Best of luck with Stephanie's ferns. They do look like they need an operation, lol. Thanks for the video, Kim.
Kim, the porch looks so inviting, once again. And, the yard is shaping back up, too. The work never ends, does it 😅? I’m glad you got the goat babies treated quickly! Did the flood waters have anything to do with it? They are looking good now!
Girl, I swear our lives are the same, if it's not 1 thing it's another we have to fight with. But we keep on plugging away. I would call tractor supply and ask them if you can return that Rubbermaid container cause it's leaking, they might surprise you and say yes. My motto is, it's a no til you ask. I'm glad the babies are feeling better, and I'll pray for Steph's ferns. ❤🍯
Kim I put vehicle under coating around the bottom of my sister's galvanized water trough and it works awesome for her it took 2 cans of it but it seals great
Just a fern growing hint: 😂I feed my ferns epson salt(plain cheep epson salt from the dollar store) mixed with water….i also let them soak in a container of espon salt and water. You can google it. My ferns love love it! Sprinkle epson salt around your garbage cans to deter raccoons. Tomato ‘S love it and roses, house plants …kills slugs too
Good afternoon Kim❤. You're always so busy and you keep yourself always doing something that needs to be done! I admire you greatly. Enjoy your blessed day XXXO 💕😁
Think every ch watch has had their babies sick this year. An some have lost babies. .You will bring those fern thru this too just like the babies. You are one busy woman
If u got it at tractor supply take it back then get the other tub they have its like rubber 100 gallon or 110 gallons it actually is shorter then the Rubbermaid I have 7 of them I can even bust ice in the winter with those n not Crack
Is flex seal toxic? Maybe you could get a hold of the company that makes the water trough and they could either send you a replacement or a voucher to get a new one! Point them to the site that has so many bad reviews of their product, so they have to address it! I don't know how long ago you bought it but it should last a good long while, so if you do have a receipt maybe you can show them that too! I would think the company doesn't want one more bad review, and that they would honor your request to replace it! 💞
Really - you expect with the name Rubbermaid on it you’re getting the best … and they aren’t cheap! So disappointing! They should send you another till it’s right! Those ferns are beautiful - it’d be a shame to see them expire at this point in the year! Glad you’re sitting them! 🤗
Here in Utah I keep getting heat advisories warning on my phone. I think it's going to be a very hot year. We usually don't get over 100 this early in the summer. Good thing I like just staying home 😂
Kim, do you have access to a wi-fi (night-vision) camera that you can put in the chicken area? You might catch an eye on what's happening. Maybe you can borrow it if there is one.
