There’s one more minor buff I’ve noticed about the sports fan outfit and that is that specific healing items like snacks, large soda, and Hot Dogs all have increased healing my guess is that all food items that you would see at a sports event are boosted
Also an added bonus spoiled food has the same effect as alcohol without the sports fan outfit, as you can eat spoiled food 3 times before frank starts vomiting
Little tip for anyone watching: since you can equip Face items together with the Protoman outfit, you can create a sinergy with the Protoman Outfit and Buster by equipping the Chef "Face mask", which (for some reason) increases the radius of explosions and adds fire damage to any zombie who gets caught in one, meaning the Protoman Buster suddenly becomes much stronger.
Minor thing about ninja outfit: it makes the arena survival in Overtime mode a total pushover. You can literally run into the corner, which would've been a death sentence with anything else, and stay there, since zombies can't detect you easily. Not THAT useful, since this section isn't hard, but at least I could take a closer look at the surroundings and relax. Btw, ninja outfit's repulse effect and resistance to zombie grabs (except gas zombies) makes survivor escorts way easier, ironically. I originally thought that since Frank doesn't attract much attention to himself, then the survivors will, but their "detect" radius seems to be way smaller than Frank's (I guess he just smells too delicious for zombies). This allows us to move more freely and immediately help survivors if they get grabbed. I like the sports fan outfit, but man, I find it really hard to change off the ninja outfit now, since it allows for a lot more relaxed gameplay, lol
I think these outfits make each playtrough fun to be honest. It's especially fun and challenging when I'm doing a gun only playthrough with the soldier outfit.
There's a few ever so slight nuances to the Ninja outfit, for one, *sometimes* small thrown items like compact discs and gems and such can be thrown with far greater speed. This effect seems to be a bit finicky on when it wants to work plus it's a pretty negligible bonus so it's largely ignorable. However there's a weird benefit when it comes to sword weapons, the full ninja outfit (in OTR) changes the magazine benefits for the broadsword, normally the Broadsword benefits from Blades and Sports, but with the Ninja outfit equipped it loses the Sports benefit but instead gets a benefit from the Games magazine. Something similar happens with the "Katana" (I need to specify Katana since there's the twins "Katana Sword"s) but while the Katana Sword always benefits from the Games magazine the regular Katana does not, UNLESS you have the Ninja outfit on. Now I'm not sure if this applies to the other versions but I recently discovered this perplexing detail on the PS4.
I just started a new game after years without playing it (since my adolescence) and your videos are perfect timing. I dont remember how I got the skins the first time, I assume that just playing.
If your wearing the ninja costume and run into one of the lure zombies challenges, crowd pleaser in the slot ranch (one hit wonder scoop takes place here as well), or party hard in the park, there are clothing items very close by that you can use to curb the ninja effect just for the challenge. You can change into the dancer girl head dress behind the stage or flower crown in between the hotel entrance and blue railing, re equip after completion.
I don't think the psychopath is the worst one. Permanent painkiller effect is really handy during the gas zombie part and the final battle with TK especially since the game forces you to survive in the arena against zombies first so drinking a painkiller beforehand won't help during the fight with TK.
For the one hit wonder scoop, you wouldn’t even be able to have the ninja outfit on in full since you have to equip the tux as a prerequisite to attracting the zombies
While true this video also serves as a guide to the costumes in Vanilla DR2 where they were DLC. In Vanilla you only needed one piece of the set and since one hit wonder only requires the tuxedo which doesn’t remove the ninja mask, hood, or shoes
One thing to comment is that the speed bonus of the Proto Man cannon works on its own, it doesn't requires the full costume. I gained much time between cases thanks to it.

Honestly don't think I've ever seen the full Protoman outfit or the proto buster. I really don't like the non-Protoman costumes because, if you want their benefits, you have to make Frank look ugly af.
Sports Fan is just too good not to use unfortunately. It's way too powerful. If OTR was like DR1 where Alcohol didnt make you sick, then I'd consider going default. The benefits of sports fan are just way too powerful.
You could get a magazine that makes you invulnerable to alcohol and it makes alcohol heal 3 times more than normal, still the sports outfit makes it better with the speed boost, tried to use the magazine AND the sports outfit to see if it match but sadly it doesn't and it makes me sad to see that in OTR you can't use the same magazine so the effect buff the beer hat as in DR2 it actually happens as long as I remember
Protoman armor on steam is annoyingly glitched now, if you do all the challenges and get at least bronze you'll get the achievement but you won't get the armor, it wont show up in your locker, there is a steam guide on replacing datafile.big to spawn an outfit next to the door in the safehouse but it wont save into your locker anymore since the dlc was taken off the store (thanks capcom vancouver and valve), So you can get the armor on Frank (as long as you keep the datafile.big in your files) and grab it from the cardboard box its in inside the safehouse, but you'll never get to wear it on Chuck in co-op :(
