It has to be said, this game is one of the few I’ve played where there are no good endings. There are BETTER ones, sure. However, each one has some sort of pitfall. - The truth remains shrouded in mystery. - The truth is partially exposed but the cause is not revealed, leaving the country at the mercy of future outbreaks. - Frank’s whereabouts are unknown but survivors make it out. - Frank’s whereabouts are unknown and no one makes it out. - The military cleanup is successful but the truth is never revealed. - Carlito’s plan succeeds and the outbreak spreads beyond Willamette. - Frank gets the truth, survivors escape but Frank is infected and no one knows if Carlito’s plan will come to fruition. No flying off into the sunset like in Resident Evil. It’s just bittersweet at best and flat out horrifying at worst. Ironically, the goofier of the two zombie series Capcom has made has the darkest of outcomes.
@@SeriousDragonify Keiji Inafune worked for Capcom until 2010... Ergo Dead Rising is a series of Capcom. Keiji Inafune may have been the lead behind it, but there was a whole team that CAPCOM employed to bring that game to existence. What was the point of that comment? It was not the own you were expecting.
@@rhysgarner8677 Majority of team left during sequels, DR4 and DR3 were worked by different team. You're talking like apple has same taste after molding.
@@SeriousDragonify Still a series created by and owned by Capcom. Inafune may be the series creator, but he worked under Capcom at the time of its creation and the IP is owned by Capcom. The sequels were made under Capcom Vancouver. Different location, but still a subsidiary of Capcom. IP’s are owned by the company their creator’s worked for. Lara Croft, a character created by Toby Gard was owned by Core Design until the IP was purchased by Crystal Dynamics. In short? Who creates it matters little. Under ownership, rights, law, etc. Dead Rising is owned, and was created by a director who worked under Capcom, by rights making them the series owner and current creator.
I thought this game would show more extra endings and scenes than the original game itself, but it just felt disappointing to me when seeing this video with better visuals and still felt anticlimactic.
Got the best ending my first try which was a surprise cause I am not that good at the first Dead Rising at all but I do realize this one is a lil bit more fair to play than the original version when it comes down to time you are given
@@icardias8639 exactly, people still complain around on steam forums.Never learning the formula, which sad... so in the end i presume Deluxe will have its fond share of people.
This remastered version is disappointment. A lot of those crazy hardcore stuff from the original game has been removed or censored hard af, just to appeal to the modern audience.
@@borb7085Well, here goes. Cliff dialogues Erotica pics All survivor females are censored (no exposure on them anymore and their faces are all toweled) Sean followers dont pray anymore Arrows are put on crates Leveling is too fast and easy 69 death npc animation removed Removed sidequests of taking photo on npc Some mirrors are covered with objects
I didn't really like the "Best and True ending." I wish there was an ending where most of them survived, got what they wanted and achieved their goals.
