One thing to mention too is that in the beginning I forgot to pick up the shotgun that one of the survivors drops. It’s a very helpful weapon and it probably would’ve made the Carlito fight easier
My first xbox 360 game ever. And the only game my parents ever got for me for the original Xbox was jet set radio future. So yeah, dead rising is my second game ever.
Such a chad move for them to announce the remake only months before release. You can tell people have so much love and nostalgia for the original and it seems the new team holds the same reverence for it. It’s a niche community but I’m glad capcom decided not to alienate us by leaving on such a sour note with the latest releases Here’s hoping dr2 gets the same treatment. Love the game but this would be a perfect opportunity to fix some of the glaring issues when comparing the first two
@@EraVulgarity Couldn't have put it better myself, I was so worried the franchise was dead in terms of new content, but this will hopefully mean either ends on a high, or brings in enough sales and new players and spawns new content and maybe even a real Dead Rising 4 and not the money grab we got!
This game has always been a game that I always come back to repeatedly, it's an experience that never gets boring. Deadrising, dead island, and dying light will always be goated
Since DRDR was announced & teased i've preordered & started replaying the original version again. I remember how hype i was back in 2006 & the game didn't disappoint. I have that same hype from back then return for this deluxe remaster. Loving that Dead Rising is once again back in the limelight.
I can confirm for you guys that in DRDR we are finally gonna be able to fight zombies while answering any call from Otis, in addition to moving while aiming & autosaves.
so heres some tips. early on in the game: theres multiple hidden smg around the mall, once is on the awning right about the door to the warehouse. theres another on one of the awnings in the food court where brad is in case 1. aside from that the mannequin torso specifically is insanely overpowered, it can kills boss' very quick. grab the skateboard the maneuver thru the park alot faster. theres a magazine in wonderland i think that lets u ollie too. you can jump off the second floor of paradise plaza next to the infinite OJ for a katana. even better next to the grocery store in north plaza there is a blade shop with infinite swords. for later in the game: its worthwhile to grab the mini chainsaw from adam and grab magazines to buff its durability (there are 3 magazines in different book stores). you will be able to kill almost every zombie if you really wanted with 3 magz you really wont need to grab another. also yes the mini chainsaw respawns in the same spot when you leave the area. ALWAYS keep a queen bee or 2. they can come in clutch and instantly dislodge survivors from a horde or yourself. always take advantage of sending survivors AHEAD of you, the further they go the better. the draw distance cuts off zombie spawns in a certain radius around frank. use a bee if needed. Lastly for brock at the end. Double Lariat is the way to go. i usually stand on the bottom half of the tank and spam it til he dies lol.
Personally, I’m kind of indifferent to the change because I don’t feel like it will have a substantial impact on the story/gameplay. I understand why people would be upset by the change. It’s a bit unnecessary. But I imagine there will be mods when the game releases to replace American Larry with Asian Larry so that may solve that problem. But that’s my two cents.
It feels so weird seeing a lot of new people talking about the best zombie videogame of 2006 I think the cult is disolved and now it will be a religion with the remake incoming
