Dead Rising is unlike ANY Zombie game I've played 

The entire Dead Rising franchise can be summed up as “Use anything and I mean literally ANYTHING to kill zombies while screwing around in stupid silly outfits”

"2006 was 16 years ago" Don´t tell me such horrible things! It make me feel old and crusted and ugh! Just misery everywhere...

Let's appreciate how this game is lovable because of the fact of throwing the most random shit at zombies

In Dead Rising 2 & Off the Record at least. You can Get the skateboard magazine, get a skateboard, find a curb or lip you can skate UP/Over and jump the moment your about to ramp anything and you’ll fly really high if not in a roofed area. Haven’t seen a single video on it yet it’s a game breaking glitch 😂 funnest part about playing Dead rising 2 for me.

Such a fun series of games. Give the sequels a try sometime. hint: it has crafting - duct tape chainsaws to a canoe paddle, and row yourself thru hundreds of zombies like the most brutal American Gladiator ever.

Loved this game. Doing the 72 hour survival achievement was so messed up. You had to have the console on the whole time. You had to have the right magazines, food etc. I got the achievement. Then my first 360 died two days later. RROD.

First night in Dead Rising is overwhelming - you have like 8 survivors + the convicts and the first story case.

Glad you found this game Kev, it's a classic for sure and one of my favorite games of all time! This was one of the early launch games of the xbox 360 so they really refined it and put so much detail into the game! Believe it or not you are only scratching the surface of the game with how much you explored! There's tons of different mini boss physcos to fight who all drop unique and OP weapons you can pick up and use, and the weapons respawn everytime you leave the room and come back. Different magazines you pick up and the different shakes/juices you blend all give you different/extra stats. There's tons of side quests and rescue missions with the npcs throughout the game, tons of unique weapons, you lvl up and learn extra combat moves and other useful stats as you go through, hidden/secret shortcuts through the mall, unlockable outfits and props from doing achievements, plus the whole story campaign with different endings options which is very enjoyable in itself. There really is so much depth in this game if you take the time to play and explore it which I highly recommend you do! It's so much fun man! Hope you keep playing it and make more vids on it Kev.

The first one was very good. The second one was good The third one was average but still enjoyable. And the fourth one was....no comment. That's how i would describe this series.

Oh God I know how my dad feels now with the games he played as a kid being older now.

These games are really fun but I never understood why they insist on the pattern of: 1) Put player open area with free reign to have complete sandbox fun. 2) Now make it timed so people don't have *too much* fun.

The first 3 games hold up surprisingly well

Dead Rising 1, 2, and 3 were some of the dopest games I've ever played. Then Dead Rising 4 shit the bed harder than I could have imagined. Somehow even harder than Dead Space 3. It shit the bed so hard it literally fucking killed the franchise. Disappointing.

You should definitely try out Dead Rising 2, it is like all of the same chaos but with new very fun mechanics

If you haven’t played Dead Rising please try it out. It’s not a perfect game, but it one of those games that’s greater than the sum of its parts. Great open sandbox zombie fun with lots of charm and tons of replayablility

One of the best weapons in the early game is the Mannequin torso. which is for some reason really funny to me.

I remember playing all the games that you mentioned, and yes even Eragon, but it was on the original Xbox, and I was playing co-op with my cousin, and yes we BEAT THE ENTIRE GAME.

In this one you can get a fully functional Megaman suit. I mean a working mega buster and everything. And I don't mean that cheap tennis ball shooter.

There's 4 main Dead Rising games. Along with an alternate version of Dead Rising 2 (Off the Record), a little mini-prequel game for Dead Rising 2, and even a weird lackluster Wii port of Dead Rising 1. There's also some weird mini-game things in DR3 and 4. And maybe even more that I'm unaware of. I would love to see you play literally all of them.

Was one of my favourite games in my youth, best weapon for me was the mannequin body (throw/smash mannequin on wall first). Super durable, fast swing and floored zombies fast. The coat hanger was a very graphic end for them as well! :-)

I remember when this game first came out. Me and my buddy sat on his futon and mindlessly killed zombies with giant dildos and other sorts of greatness. The lawnmower is still the greatest mowing sim on the market

DR3 is personally my favorite even if others see it as lesser than the orginal two and honestly I'd love for the series to return after...dead rising 4 even of that was a dumpster fire of a game but I'm glad to see there are others making a return or even joining in on the series years later like how I did cause I never had an Xbox or pc until a year ago and rediscovered DR3 and the series and fell in love with it sad too see it not having been continued
