Twenty years ago I had life threatening cancer. They sent me to a psychologist to discuss what I was dealing with. He said think of the things I use to do that were fun. I said I rode a motorcycle in college and cross country. He said don’t do that it is too dangerous. Well, that was the wrong thing to say. A little time after that I went to the Harley dealer and bought a 1200 Sportster. I put 9000k miles on it. In the mean time I also bought a Suzuki 1500 Intruder. I put 25,000 miles on it. Later I bought the 2000 Heritage and it has 75,000 miles on it. Well, I guessed I lived. I know riding those motorcycles helped my mental state.
All I can tell you after 47 years of riding and 23 bikes, riding my Harley Ultra is like riding nothing else - it is smooth, powerful, predictable, reliable, but most of all it lopes along like a thoroughbred horse on vacation eating up the miles in a casual manner that nearly defies description. Even my life long passenger absolutely loves the bike. The laid back cadence of the motor, the way Harley has matched the transmission perfectly to the power of the engine, it is nothing short of amazing. I have owned this bike for three years now and I still just about laugh out loud at how fantastic it is - at everything! You are the only one who brings that feeling to life through your adventures. Great stuff!
I'm 100% on board with your living your life before your dead. I just finished a 4500 mile trip solo from San Diego thru Glacier, Calgary, Banff, Kamloops, Cache Creek then the "back road" Hwy. 99 thru Whistler and Squamish over to Vancover, back along the U.S. Canada border on Hwy. 3 to the 95 south. Death valley was a bit warm but the Harley never missed a beat. I'm 71 and still packing in all the living I can do. Love your vlogs. Thank you, you crazy bastard.
Another fantastic vid. They say adventure comes from within and you are full of it. Beautiful ride and shots from Drone. All your effort is appreciated. Alaska is beautiful, thanks for the ride so far.
David (should we call him DP or Robin-to Danny's Bat man??) Says do they make that shirt for men, then proceeds to drive like a woman ;) I can't get enough of you two, our fearless dynamic duo! Thanks for taking us along.
Danny, may GOD bless you and your mate.Ive been riding since 11 years old,I'm now 61.Im even more passionate about riding now than when I was young.Your videos lift my spirits and validate the reason I still ride and explore.Thank you so much.
One of the best tube Vids I have watched ...honesty.. modesty with a lot of realism threw in ....anyone who rides a motorcycle would love to do what you do !! brilliant .
That big rock at Beluga point is my special place to go after a hard day at the office. I ride the bike down there and climb right up on that big rock and sit there and look at the ocean and have a couple of beers. So great to see you enjoying it and included in your Vlog. Thank you.
I live in Illinois, US. We’ve never had a helmet law. I grew up and have been riding with no helmet for 35 years. I love the feeling of the wind on my face. I feel disconnected when I do wear a helmet. I can’t imagine being forced to wear one all the time . Love your channel!
Danny just wanted to say thank you. I found your blogs art a dark time in my life and you've consistently brought a smile to my face and inspired me to find myself again. I've enjoyed some great rides and plan on continuing the journey.
I'm watching this with my 5 year old. Not our normal activity, but while he is drawing I am watching this. He said "wouldn't it be funny if you just turned on this show then you died." Anyway, maybe you needed to be here to hear it and sense the humour. But a funny observation from a 5 year old.
Hooray Hooray!! One of the best! We've got a great song (on a wire), great motivational talk, great Anchorage sites, hilarious David performance, great ride as always and much more... all for the price of one, loved it. Cheers.

Just returned from a Alaska ride from Wisconsin and back with my wife. Great to watch your video and your experiences as I can relate to it all. We also rode a Harley 2005 Ultra.
It's awesome that you acknowledge the folks whom watch and enjoy your vlogs. I reckon you've got a good heart. I rode a bit in California without a lid and I know where your coming from. Should be a personal choice. Bit of a Nanny state here in Australia. Safe travels blokes.
Newer subscriber here, i have to say man i love your videos, and your insights. One of these Alaska vlogs you were riding and you said you felt like you were running away and you didn't even know what you were running from...that hit home for me. Ty for the videos I look forward to going back and watching your older videos as well as the new as they come out.

Not many people on youtube worth watching on a regular basis but your videos are great. Nice to see a someone thats funny and down to earth produce content. Harley should be sponsoring you because your out there having fun and respectfully interacting with people having a few laughs. Credit for posting the smashing of the drone, we've all been there before but how many of us would have the stones to post it.
Looks like you guys had a blast. Great job making it all the way. I live in a state that does not require helmets for adults and sometimes I just want to ride without a helmet and I do. It is freeing. I also hate and will not wear full face helmet. Whenever I do it feels like I had my head in a tunnel and I feel like shit the rest of the day while my head and ears recover. Great blog, I love it.
