World's Most Dangerous Roads: Deadliest Journeys in Tanzania 2016
Deadliest Roads - Peru - Amazon: • Deadliest Roads | Peru...
Lake Tannganyika in Tanzania, East Africa is the biggest in the world, and is remarkably beautiful. The Tanzanians have two options to cross it: 20 hours on a pickup truck on a road riddled with potholes or 3 days of sailing on the oldest cargo ship in the world, the LIEMBA. On the track, traders try to reach the market but torrential rain disrupts the route. On the old boat, the passengers are piling up in the crowded holds on the boats. The captain struggles to maintain order.

“A lost paradise with a helping of hell” ~ unknown citizen of Tanzania 🇹🇿 12. Tanzania is mountainous and densely forested in the north-east, where Mount Kilimanjaro is located. Three of Africa's Great Lakes are partly within Tanzania. To the north and west lie Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake, and Lake Tanganyika, the continent's deepest lake, known for its unique species of fish. 11. Tanzania is located on the eastern coast of Africa and has an Indian Ocean coastline approximately 1,424 kilometers (885 mi) long. The islands of Ungunsten, Pemba and Mafia also belong to Tanzania. 10. The 86,500 kilometers (53,700 mi) road system is in generally poor condition. 9. Two ferries carry passengers and cargo along the eastern shore of lake Tanganyika: the MV Liemba between Kigoma and Mpulungu is featured in this documentary. The lake has a lot of weird fish, too many fishers and now there’s a problem. 8. As with all African countries, some unsavory colonial history: German rule began in mainland Tanzania during the late 19th century when Germany formed German East Africa. This was followed by British rule after World War I. The mainland was governed as Tanganyika, with the Zanzibar Archipelago remaining a separate colonial jurisdiction. Following their respective independence in 1961 and 1963, the two entities merged in 1964 to form the United Republic of Tanzania. 7. Tanzania is still a member of the Commonwealth as one republic 6. Dar es Salaam used to be the capital but since 1996 its official capital city has been Dodoma where the president's office, the National Assembly, and some government ministries are located. 5. Over 100 different languages are spoken in Tanzania, making it the most linguistically diverse country in East Africa. 4. The national language is Swahili. English is used in foreign trade, in diplomacy, in higher courts, and as a medium of instruction in secondary and higher education, 3. The country is the site of Africa's highest and lowest points: Mount Kilimanjaro, at 5,895 metres (19,341 ft) above sea level, and the floor of Lake Tanganyika, at 1,471 metres (4,826 ft) below sea level, respectively 2. Approximately 38 % of Tanzania's land area is set aside in protected areas for conservation 1. Tanzania has 16 national parks, plus a variety of game and forest reserves, including the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. In western Tanzania, Gombe Stream National Park is the site of Jane Goodall's ongoing study of chimpanzee behavior, which started in 1960. Tanzania has the largest lion population in the world 1 + The Serengeti is part of Tanzania and the largest protected national park k the world 15,000 m2 or 5700 square miles. It is the most spectacular UNESCO world heritage site - a protected national park. It is famous for its annual migration of over 1.5 million white-bearded wildebeest and 250,000 zebra and for its numerous Nile crocodile-and honey badger. Available ww

@carlokrenzelak I read that you don't see a correlation between colonialism and the infrastructure most African countries face today. Give them the funds and wealth back you have stolen from them then their countries will be on the same level as yours.Get yourself educated and don't be a fool among others in the western world.
@selcukcilek555

@carlokrenzelak Sorry ,but you need to undergo a brain surgery. Google for Metallurgy in Africa, for Architecture , learn abut African civilizations. Learn when and where animals where domesticated, that you would not be able to use a smart phone, your car without Coltan from Congo. Learn that it's your legal system which brought Apartheid to Africa and kept it until late 20th Century. The same legal system which used African soldiers to win wars and slaves for the American continent. The West not only exploited Africa but Asia and the American continent as well. You are a offspring of a white supremacist murder nation now laughing about the crime scene you left behind. Yes, Africa may lack leaders but the ones who stood up for their rights, like Patrice Lumumba of Congo were tortured and killed by the West.

As an Albino, my grandfather had to train me to protect myself. He also did it to shape my body into a normal while still looking like an Albino. The training was rough. Often telling me at a young age that people will gourge my red eyes out of envy, skin me for trophy, or even eat me. Yeah.... He said all of that. He passed away 5 years ago but I still train the different martial arts and weaponry he taught me. I'm also learning Muay Thai, Kali, and some parts of kick boxing. Currently learning on how to use different types of military grade guns. If you're wondering how old I am, I just turned 20 last month. Its not that I want to become a highly trained assassin or something... I just want to learn more because training and learning has always been my thing.

The one about the Congo train and boat, and also one about the road there on route 1. It's a good couple documentaries. I also watched some Congo tribe hunting baboons. Crazy. I would choose DRC Congo for visiting but it's seems kind of scary depending on where and who you meet.
