I’m so glad you’re making deadlock content, I’ve been loving it but I’ve felt a little lost building and just following guides mindlessly, I haven’t watched you in a while since I took a break from smite and didn’t like new world but it’s nice to watch you again
Thanks for this info! One thing I've done some games if I know I'm going to Jungle early is picking up Melee Lifesteal and Monster Rounds as my sustain option in lane, as those transition into the jungle perfectly.
Yeah, those would definitely be my go-to options for jungle focus. Close quarters is nice too, also buffs your melee DMG and still helps in lane as well!
I absolutely love this info! This is the level of testing of items I want to see. If it’s possible (and you’re looking for ideas), I’d love to see how Enchanter’s Barrier and Combat Barrier hold up against Bullet Armor and Spirit Armor.
@@DukeSloth I know the ability to improve the armors is really strong but I’m also so tempted to throw a double barrier / veil walker / divine barrier build up on someone like Wraith who will make use of both bonuses after their buffs (and has built in bullet shields in her ability).
Great video. Love how you are often in the games I'm into as you're one of my favorite content creators. Back during the inception of New World there were tons of content creators but very few that actually broke down the numbers and mechanics of the game which is what I found to be most helpful, you were doing phenomenally in that area.
Hope making Deadlock content becomes sustainable and, most importantly, enjoyable for you. Unironically, my interest in Smite wained when I didn't have a steady stream of digestable changes and updates to stay current. You fill a niche, hope it becomes a staple for you.
amazing video, I really hope in the next videos you would also discuss tier 2 items, obviously it is much harder to calculate but situationally you can buy an item for 1250 during lane and it would bring much more benefit than 2 items from tier 1, as an example restorative locket has huge lining potential against spamming heroes such as lady gaga(or whatever tf her name is)
Thanks a lot! I originally included T2 item discussion as well but ended up cutting it out because the video was super long already! But it's definitely something I still want to discuss since we have 2 healing t2s as well as a bunch that provide Regen!
thanks, confirmed my head maths that restorative shot is great. compared to extra regen you get damage, resist, and the regen if you mix heroes and NPCs is about the same. not perfect for every hero but on e.g. Haze where you have a very easy time getting at least 1 bullet on heroes it's great imo. melee lifesteal seems insane too, I need to grab it more.
Melee life steal + Spirit punch for the first 2 items on Lash feels mega slept on. I heal a ton and do a ton of burst damage that they don't expect. Obviously, they can parry you, but unless ur playing in like, high MMR people don't parry as much as they should.
I did similar testing, tho i went for permin instead of 3 min Melee lifesteal being so strong makes sense, but its still caughtt me off guard ehen i first tested it. Restorative shot healing so much is another surprise when i did it. Extra regen always seem like the safe option, but neither of those are to be discounted
@@theprinceofgaming1545 Yeah, you won't get full value either way since you're not gonna spam it on heroes only. But even if we're just shooting creeps with it, the value isn't bad. So if you can reliable get 1-2 procs off of creeps and then occasionally get an additional proc from players when you land a shot, your overall sustain is solid while still giving you the added early pressure of being a yellow item!
Intresting... Hot take i will try meele livesteal on haze. I love to meele and also i skill always the sleep at first for a free heavy meele. Thats how i trade my lane and not loose..good people dont stay with no cover to get my passiv stacked.
Interesting video. One thing ive noticed with restorative shot is when playing a character with a shotgun, all the pellets light up green and can trigger restorative shot. Unlike mystic shot which only procs on the center pellet. Im curious to know if you get extra benefits when you land more of the pellets on restorative shot.
If you don't want to watch this. Buy extra regen and restore shot. Depending on what char you are these will be the best value first 500 purchase for lane sustain. Lane sustain can be turned into aggression. If you are healing and they are not. Suddenly you threaten a dive. If they leave lane to heal even once that's usually gg 500 soul lead or more. Turning your first purchase into a 2 item or 1 item advantage. Gg. At 10m stop buying trash items. Hard stop.
Can you factor in more items please. One combo I really like is extra regen and increased healing for high regen while playing yamato. That item combo makes you unmovable in lane and I’m sure other combos with increased healing would do the same.
I'd love some kind of data on what lifesteal items are best over the course of a match. I always end up buying bullet or spirit for 1250 but maybe that is overkill on some champs when a 500 item with some life steal is better?
can u make a video on if its efficient to jungle/at what time it becomes effiecent to jungle/if its efficient to run the jar, when it becomes efficient to run the jar... BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY I WANT TO KNOW is it efficient/worthwhile farming boxes and golden jars that are NOT near jungle creeps, like the tunnel under the middle buy station has a few gulden jars and several boxes, is it worthwhile to go loot those over staying in lane or ganking,or jungling.
now do shields plus veilwalker please. sheilds alone are not so good because of the 1 minute for a full recharcge but veilwalker makes it instant( turns into veilwalker cooldown)
I appreciate the effort but without a real conclusion and practical recommendatoins this is basically just math. What i mean is something like, what combination would i get when i win/lose a lane. What combinations are good for X type of heroes. What is is recommended if I play a hero that plays more to the front/back. What to buy when i have x amount of Character Inherent sustain etc.
I gave quite a few practical recommendations and possible combinations toward the end of the video, for example close range heroes. I don't think it would be possible to cover every possible scenario because a lot of it comes down to how well/badly your lane is going.
