Fun fact: it was actually the director who got Pitt to join in on this movie. And as it happens, when they asked Brad Pitt, he didn't want to be paid normally, he "Asked for a coffee the day of filming". And everyone was so stunned by it, they hinestly couldn't figure out if he was joking or not, or if he "wanted a whole coffee store, or just a latte, or what", but he showed up, they got him coffee, he did the scene, and everyone just went about their day. (Source: Deadpool 2 (4-disc) complete collection director's commentary track.

Yep. I saw an interview with Brad Pitt recently and he said the director was actually his stunt double in the early 2000s, so they were good friends.

I know a ton of movies are constantly being recorded here in Vancouver, but the Deadpool movies are the ones in which the city is most recognizable. If you know Vancouver, it's pretty easy to tell the locations for most shots. It seems intentional at times, like Ryan Reynolds showing off his beautiful hometown.

My favorite part about this movie is that not only does it reference Batman V Superman but also does it's basic plot better. The whole "Martha" thing rightfully gets sh*t for being the reason that the two work together. Now go back to the baby legs scene in DP2, that is a great reason for foes to now work together for a common goal. They both want to save Russel just in very different ways. Also fun is that Julian Dennison had to skip the premier of DP2 because he wasn't old enough to watch the movie.

At this point, the MCU should've explained that all the movie universes like Fox and Sony, with all the retcons and changes are all operated by Mojo (voiced by Kevin Feige) - the ultimate meta narrative.

11:20 I hope Angel gets more screen time/ focus in the MCU lol. He's a member of the first class yet never seems to get more than a cameo/ small role in X-Men media (i.e. X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Evolution, Wolverine & the X-Men, etc). It would also be cool to see a close bond between him & Storm (like in Wolverine & the X-Men) - I feel like it could create a lot of fun scenes since they can both fly lol.
