@Angry Boi yea because there’s not kids out there intelligent enough to manipulate authorities for self gain especially in the marvel universe. Dude there are laws and rules for a reason if you go around executing every person due to accusations alone you’re not gonna achieve anything. If deadpool actually waited and investigated the accusations with fellow xmen at his back he wouldn’t have gone to jail, cause mass death on a road, and literally prevent continuous chaos throughout the film maybe even save black tom. That’s the guys point. Not about believing or not believing the poor kid. 🤦‍♂️

"those guys hurt you?" In that instant, you knew exactly what was coming. This is the definition of good character acting. The way he uses his voice changes; the gentleness, the underlying promise of violence and the fact that he went on his knees to get to the kids level are awesome.

In the comics, Deadpool does in fact have a moral code, which is to never kill children or teenagers (he even refused to kill a rejuvenated Apocalypse when Psylocke, Fantomex and Wolverine were willing to go that far). In fact, child abuse usually angers him because he himself had an abusive father. This scene does a pretty good job at portraying his sensitive side. The first movie introduced Deadpool as a wisecracking, unpredictable anti-hero but the second film makes him more complex and shows that he does have moral values worthy of a hero and that he does believe in redemption.

I agree. And to some extent, fighting for what you think is right is better than just following orders and regulations. Unless you have poor judgement, that is. And although he didn't completely think that action through, Wade still knew about evil and abuse all too well, and he couldn't stand by to let Russell suffer any further abuse. He may sometimes be stupid and occasionally hotheaded, but his heart is always in the right place.

I'm not saying that _everyone_ should do it. (A majority of people's sense of judgement becomes much more clouded with each passing year.) Besides, I wasn't referring to all heroes in general. Deadpool has been famous for doing and saying wrong things at the wrong times. And yes, even though what Deadpool did wasn't very rational or smart in the very least, he saw that a child was being abused and tried to deal with it as quickly as possible. Besides, it's _Deadpool._ Who says that he has the best judgement in the entire room?

picking a standalone instance. there are plenty of cases where a hero or antihero kills a criminal and it turns things worse. and i definitely wouldnt trust on deadpool making an analyzed call whether the pros outweigh the cons. even here its essential to heroes everywhere that colossus is there to lecture and control him instantly so that public doesnt get the impression of mentally challenged punisher killing people because he feels like it

@@kallemetsahalme5701 On the other hand, consider abusive behaviors. They don't stop just because someone knows about it. It can only stop if everyone knows and does something about it. Not everyone was gonna know, and even if it was brought to light, who would actually do anything without definitive proof? In this case, Deadpool made the right call. If not Russel, it was gonna be some other kid. Those people would have continued to abuse children and get away with it because they know how act nice. Sometimes, you have to play dirty, especially in a world where superpowers, heroes, and villains exist.

I love how Deadpool doesn’t always take his mask off every time he gets a chance unlike many other Marvel characters in the MCU who takes off their mask even when it’s unnecessary.

I think the way Deadpool 2 portrays Deadpool is more like his comic book character, who did, in fact, have a moral code. I like how this movie shows he's more than a wisecracking mercenary with guns and katanas, and is capable of being serious when he needs to be.

I've seen some scary kids. When folks are scared , they call the system. Which can overdo it, and scar the kid, or underdo it, and leave helpless pet dealing with an anger monster who abuses innocent people who can't deal with a career criminal. That's scary too. I work in security, and there are teens out there that can kill you, and I'm not deadpool. I'm sorry if they hurt you, or a friend. I hope you are doing better. But we can get scared, too.

Everything the child feels is up to the parents, every single thing about that person is up to the parents. Anyone influencing them upon growing up, thats how they become. New psychology tests have shown that the way your treated upon the very first moments out of the womb decide how you're going to turn out. Psychology can explain all of it. You don't send someone to be abused just because you're scared of them, in fact you don't even put it against them, because whether you like it or not, whether they even know better, its not their fault. I don't care whether YOU or anyone else thinks it's right, its not. That's not justice, its an easy excuse for you to use to be able to get those people away from you because you inherently value yourself over them. You can throw kids away day in, day out, simply because you don't want to put the effort in to actually fix the problem, but rather to push it to the side. All so that you can live happy, like yeah doesn't matter how many kids have to suffer, just as long as you're happy right?

Also, if these kids are lashing out, and I'm not saying that there isn't profound pain there, that does not take away from the risks of injury and death to me, or people I care about. If you scare the normals, the normals will counter react.

2:27 is when I first felt that Deadpool was a hero (I know he says that he ain't) ...he cared that Russel was being hurt by those guys; I don't agree in killing them, but that was a moment I felt watching this in theatres years ago.
