Deadpool 2 is shaping up to be an epic sequel! The Martian/Cloverfield writer Drew Goddard has joined the Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the mastermind's behind the first film. Still no word on Domino and Cable casting updates, but we've got a pretty solid idea of who Fox and Marvel are eyeing for the roles.
On top of that, Joe Carnahan has signed on to write and direct the X-Force movie! Could we see Deadpool teaming up with even more X-Men? Let's find out!

I can definitely see Pierce as Cable... he's not a small guy, being 6'2. He's got the gruff look, he can definitely pull off the scowl. I was sold on Ron Pearlman being Cable, but seeing Pierce more recently... i can definitely see him as Cable.

I never even though of how perfect Pierce Brosnan is for Cable. All the fan casts were a little too on the nose but Brosnan seems like he could nail it, although I would have loved Keira Knightley too despite it being a joke. edit: I loved the Grey, underrated film.

Well Deadpool makes reference to tweeting, and the models of the car give an idea that it was set at least in the last few years, so if he was to star in an X-men film, it would have to be with the original actors rather than the younger actor as they were teenagers in the 80s, unless in Fox's universe mutants age extremely slowly. Then again, time travel
