I have nothing against MCU movies. But I actually preferred this, than the heavy CGI ones from MCU. Don't get me wrong, MCU CGI looks top notch, at least from a non expert point of view as mine. But I still preferred Deadpool, over the MCU movies. But this is more a personal opinion than a fact.
@@eiyu-okuroryokan2634 You sound afraid of hating on the MCU. Personal opinion, I think the MCU deserves some hate. I watch MCU movies to keep up with how my favorite characters are doing in cinema. And they’re good movies just for having fun. But there’s a lot of half assing in things like CG, writing, and originality. The CG is very very detailed when it’s the center of the screen and our attention. But god damn it gets bad during action scenes and camera movement (motion blur). The writing except (my personal opinion) in Avengers 2012, Iron Man 3, Endgame, and No Way Home is nothing worthy of remembering. And last, I think it’s unoriginal and usually has the same Disney plot lines as a Pixar movie would. Sorry, it’s 1AM and I am tired as hell. This all just came out of me bro. Anyways, I appreciate the fact you prefer this over MCU. This movie was not overdone or underdone in any factor. It was a great film. I mean it.
A lot more bankruptcies, the editors job is to make a good movie, the studio execs job is to make sure the studio earns money. Granted not all studio execs are good at their job lol.
@@diomedes7971 like Simon Cowell hitting a cow bell or triangle on a lot of a bands album tracks, knowing if it ends up a single, he gets a performance credit, and another revenue stream.
'The sequence was called 16 bullets but due to budgetary constraints its now 12 bullets' is the most deadpooly phrase ever spoken and it's not even part of the movie. It's behind the fucking scenes. Even the BTS is breaking the 4th wall.
Honestly, it’s a miracle Deadpool ever got made when you think about it. Deadpool is one of the LAST comic book characters I’d ever thought would make it to the big screen, let alone be a smash hit.
@@stephenledford3808 Yes GotG are super obscure but they aren’t nearly as meta and 4th wall breaking as Deadpool. The adventures that DP usually has are insane and sure, maybe the movies don’t reflect that as much but he himself is still so insane that it’s surprising that he made it to the big screen with millions of dollars behind him AND the GA responded so well
@@shmurks they don't take that long to FILM. They'll be in pre-vis (like seen here) for a few years, then spend generally 3-5 months shooting, with possible reshoots later during post-production
That is the only thing I don't like about the MCU, they rely on CGI a bit too much. They completely ditch real suits and replace them with heavy CGI suits😢. Other than that, I'm a huuge fan of MCU.
@@lyricsassam totally agree I'm also a HUGE Marvel fan but no matter how much I love Marvel the best superhero movie uptill now is still the Batman Trilogy, YES better than NWH but comparable to Sam's Spiderman Trilogy
That opening scene is unforgettable honestly....seeing it for the first time, especially in the theater was pretty epic, the only other movie I personally can relate it to was the first Guardians of the Galaxy, which was something I'd never seen before
My partner and I went to see this for Valentine's Day because we love Deadpool. We couldn't stop laughing and talking. We lost it when we heard Team HeadKick.
That's a pretty astute observation. Reynolds managing to sell studio execs to actually make the movie was also a massive display of "marketing" skills.
Isn’t it crazy. All that effort, talent and expensive equipment to get the motorcycle camera to follow the stunt driver… and only 1 or 2 brief shots from that were used in the final cut.
I paid my fair share and every one of those union members made probably more than they should per hour. (Never known a union guy to make anything less than more than they should) Not sure what there is to appreciate about the movie recreation so much as the original writing for the comic. Movie was funny, I paid for laughs, got laughs. End of story.
Tim Miller went to the same comic book store I did over in Culver City. I remember the day he was showing people the finished Deadpool test footage on his cell phone. He was kind enough to show me as well. Super nice guy. I was extremely happy to see him go on to succeed with the film years later.
8:20 that's so interesting. Almost every behind the scenes I've ever seen there's someone who's so proud of an all new movie creation to get the shots they want
It seems like they spent more time on one scene than a lot of films do on their whole project. Had the potential to be a HUGE disappointment and they didn't let that happen. One of the best comic book films ever. Well done.
I'm so happy that this all came together, I'm proud that Ryan basically fought for Deadpool to be in film, and the leak that actually made it happen. I cannot wait for DP 3, it's one series that I don't think will get old for sometime! The effort they put in for this scene proves they really wanted to bring the closest version of Deadpool to film, and would've been the worst mistake of Fox if they didn't actually take the film on-board, best decision they have made ever
Perhaps the most impressive, mind-blowing film scene I've ever seen - and I'm 62! I LOVED it in theater and seeing this breakdown makes me appreciate the craftsmanship and artistry behind it even more.
@@Blue-Apple-fc9eohe is 62 years old and is saying this the most impressive movie scene he has ever seen. Perhaps he hasn't watched alot of movies. It's cap
@@blackmantis3130 And that’s a problem? what if I say I am 17 years old? is that a problem? I understand your perspective but please try to be more respectful and understanding next time thank you.
The movie where Ryan ryenolds got to be him self. He's as perfect a fit for dead pool as any of the other characters like Jackman is to wolverine Hemsworth to thot rdj for stark etc
Its amazing to when creative and visionary people get together to make something cool, great, funny and entertaining to have its own fans and audience, this is the masterpiece you get dear sponsors and studios
This team deserves all the pride they certainly must have from this project: The diverse demographics it appealed to was astounding…especially due to the edge it had. I mean, “WoW!”
The character which they don't wanted on big screen became one of the most popular movies of all time still they didn't wanted him in X-Men and now he's joining MCU 💪🔥
I dont care if some part of its all cgi, that high way car fght sequence is one bad ass scene. and to top this movie is colosus is comic accurate deeeeym
Love you Ryan. Absolute legend. One of my favourite celebrities. He cares more about doing than being the focus. Ever since his earlier films, I have always had a great admiration for him
I remember when it was posted, I was just a kid on youtube and thought someone made a really cool short. When the movie come out and I saw that scene, I felt so cool, like I was in the know before everyone
when I first saw the van wilder movie back in 02/03 i told my buddy that's who could play deadpool in a live action film because my buddy had alot of comic books and his fav was deadpool. 14 years later I almost searched out my old high-school buddy to tell him see I was right
This is one of the very few movies I've seen where if I was ever in a traffic jam because of shooting schedules, I'd look at the resulting scene and say "it was worth it".
don't know about u guys but I prefer this one than the 2nd one, the direction, score, looked like it's got a huge budget but it's not and of course the Careless Whisper track 👌
Easily one of the best Marvel movies, and super hero movies in general. So grateful they were able to push their vision out there as they wanted, and they fucking hit it out of the park. One of the most enjoyable openings in a movie EVER 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I remember when this was leaked, saw it on facebook (yeah, 7 years ago normal people still used facebook, how much the times have changed) and knowing nothing about deadpool I was there for it, I think I even signed some e-petition or something to show support for making the movie and I do believe the massively positive reception the footage got on social media is the main reason we got Deadpool 1 looking the way it is
It's like Marlon Brando in The Godfather, Allan Grant in Jurassic Park, or Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd in BTTF, sometimes actors are made for a role
Seeing these videos honestly gives me respect for Ryan Renalds as well, him going above and beyond to just play this character gives me mad respect for him.
I remember watching that first teaser for the very first time. I wished si had for it to actually happen and all this time later and 3 movies later I’m glad it did. Once of the best marvel trilogies
