@@thomasbdl ya perhaps. But at this point in the series I don’t think it would matter. A-train has redeemed himself and whether or not that gets him killed doesn’t matter to him. He’s become the opposite of what he was in season one. He’s the hero of his story now.

Probably because Hugh Jackman was concerned about exposure after having had skin cancer. (That, or they heard the backlash about the sleeves and they CGI'd them off after)

I kinda disagree with regards to box office and inflation. If you get rid of all the variables than what is the point of comparison? If a movie sells 100 tickets in 2000 and makes say $500 but in 2020 another movie sells 50 tickets but makes $600 does that matter? If we are comparing money a movie makes than the value of that money matters no? It is never a simple comparison so it still holds value to consider it. Obviously for the sake of simplicity it isn't super necessary but it still matters to compare inflation.

Ticket prices, etc. only really reflect differences in attendance. More competition for the entertainment dollar maybe puts the impressiveness of a movie's level of success in a different perspective. But at the end of the day, inflation reflects tbe actual value of the dollars going into the studio executives' pockets, then vs. now. And that's going to ultimately determine how successful a film is regarded as being, whether it gets sequels, etc. Leaving inflation out is actually kind of a silly argument, in my humble opinion.

John, at this point it doesn't matter what Kathleen Kennedy has done in the past. She could've been the best Personal Assistant every major director has ever had, but that doesn't change that she's done a terrible job running Lucasfilm. It doesn't matter that she did well in a different role. She's done poorly in this role. Saying 'but she did something good in the past' doesn't mean anything.

Henry Cavill's rumored to play a wolverine variant I Deadpool and every keeps saying they want him as Captain Britain. However I haven't heard anyone mention what I think would be the best role for him in playing Cyclopse. What would you think of HC as Cyclopse? I think a number of actors out there could play a lesser known character like Captain Britain, but it hard to think of many actors that would nail a strong cyclops role.

I dont have a full list of releases in front of me. But what I can think of as I type in regards to best kf 2024 are: Furiosa Civil War Inside Out 2 GodzillaxKong(this is my one stupid good film) Kingdom of Planet I Saw the TV Glow Sasquach Sunset Also, I finally just watched Madame Web. Its bad. No question. But I kinda loved it for the absurdity. Again, bad. But I lol'd watching it. Rebel Moon though. Thats just bad to me. But hey, if someone reading this liked it. Awesome. Do you. Never will I judge. Its all subjective.

That is my personal favorite one. I loved the Dynamic of the Mother Daughter and Father. And of course Tywin Lannister.... The whole Calming of the Animals with tech was nifty to me( the Mothra taming sequence) Also I thought the Villian Monster in that movie was the best. The 3 headed evil bastard. Thats my favorite one personally, with Godzilla Vs Kong behind it.

It just doesnt look good enough from what I have seen. I hope somehow its as good as Infinity War. To me, aside from Captain America Movies. I think Infinity War is the best movie in the whole damn MCU. I don't have any expectations that DP3 can be as good as those movies. But like every Deadpool Movie so far. It usually is better than the trailers. So, on we ride.

I don't know what you saw in Furiosa, but I did not see the film you described. It was a PALE imitation of Fury Road, which was a masterpiece. The plot was non-existent, there was zero character development, they turned the War Boys into the Keystone Kops, and they replaced the wonderful practical car stunts with bad CGI. Additionally, the first hour and 20 minutes has nothing to do with Furiosa, as she is basically a child dragged around by Dementus, so there was ZERO reason to replace Charlize Theron, as most of Anya's scenes occur within months of Fury Road's start, ans don't get me started on the pointless romance with Mild Max. It was just a chore of a movie.

Love me some Furiosa. Her Mother was Magnificent. And Chris Hemsworth Wife was incredible in the movie. I loved the landscapes, the characters, the little beats and moments. I loved lil Dementus, I thought she did a great job... When she chewed the gas chord I said Good girl before her on screen mum did. I was locked in... And Anya Taylor Joy really gave me chills a few times. She NAILED it. My lil take.
