I know this is splitting hairs but for game that makes me feel like a superhero I’ve gotta go with any of the infamous games. For a game that makes me feel the “title superhero” it’s gonna be Arkham city. (Super man 64 is a close second xD)
“I love DP” I platinumed this game earlier this year. It was one of the first games I went back and did when I got into trophy hunting. I absolutely enjoyed it. Though I do feel it’s easier to Platinum if you play the game on the regular difficulty before going for Ultra-Violence as it makes the Ultra Violence run easier in the end as well as cleanup in general. I also am amazed with how PS4 copies can go for $200 when I got a preowned PS4 copy from my local EB Games back for only $30. Anyway I loved this game and this video was a lot of fun.
Yeah I have heard two playthrough's makes ultra violence much less annoying but hey, that's twitch chat for you 😂I walked past this game so many times at eb back in the day, wish I just pick it up then 😂
While it did give me a lot of trouble I figured out some strategies that helped me through it. After taking out the three big guys the stairs were the main area to work around as they gave an infinite supply of traps plus some ammo as well and the gunmen couldn’t shoot you up there. Use bear traps to take out the machine gun brutes and shotgun counter melee enemies as that did the most damage to them and could even one shot some of them on the hardest difficulty. Place land mines to take care of the gambit clones while also keeping a distance from them. Slowly pickoff the gunmen one by one and dip back anytime they took too much health then make your way to the right side. Take out the gun man while doing the same shotgun counters for all the melee enemies. Move towards the stairs and bait out the melee enemies one by one and continue this till you get to the marauders. Use the flashbangs to stun Blockbuster and focus on Arclight. Then keep moving and don’t stand still to take out the Storm clone and continue countering to and flash banging to kill blockbuster. While for Sinister just RUUUUNNNNNN!!!!!!!! Don’t stand still or Melee as Sinister can grab and pretty much one shot you if you get too close. Use the Hammer momentum as this one keeps you on the move and is the only one Sinister can’t grab you out of. Pick off the Sinisters and just spam the teleports and never stop moving and you can get it done. Once I figured out that strat for the minions I got through them pretty easily but they took me the longest to beat until I figured out the strat. The marauders gave me some trouble but they were pretty much the easiest part. Sinister took just a lot of running and patience and a good use of throwing traps constantly to keep some sinisters at bay for some breathing room. Those stairs are your biggest ally as you need all those traps, mines and flash bangs if you want a decent chance at beating it. That’s how I did it. First stage took me an hour while the finale 2 took me about 30 minutes.
I platinumed this game first week it came out. Played through on Ultra Violence first playthrough. Wished I hadn't. However, the sinister battle. I hit a groove that worked amazing..... Bear traps, shotgun. Lol took them all down SOOOOOO Fast
Possible platinum suggestion, What Remaind Of Edith Filch. I played it for the first time yesterday after only playing overwatch for like 3 years straight and it was phenomenal. It should only take a few hours, and is pretty grim, but the message behind it is amazing and overrall a phenomenal game
I love DP!. I still wish i never got rid of this game would be a great plat to get even if the hardest difficulty would cause me pain. I still stand by the arkham games are the greatest superhero games and itll take a lot to change that
Like five months ago, I saw the ps4 version of this game at a used videogame store for like 20 bucks (the equivalent of that in my country's currency, of course). I had the money on me, and I recalled playing it on my friend's PS3 back in the day and enjoying it quite a bit, but something told me to refrain and look for something else that maybe was more Worth the money. I ended up not buying anything that day, and on the way back home on the bus I started going through those weird Wikipedia rabbit holes about the Deadpool game, and I found out about the delisting and the going price for the ps4 game. Never have I ever felt that stupid. Needless to say, when I checked the store's website, it was gone as fuck. I'll always wonder how the hell those guys even considered selling it at such a low price. Maybe it was mislabeled or something? Anyways, sorry for the random anecdote. Great video btw! Keep it up!
This game was the first PS4 game I ever got, this was back in 2016 so it was much cheaper, and luckily I still have it, need to replace the case though it has a big chip in it, but actually trying to platinum it right now
The game isn’t very hard on hard mode until you get to the final two levels. That’s where it stuck me. But i also played it on easy first to get the rest of the trophies. And the best thing to do in the arena was to stay at the top of the stairs and let the enemies funnel to you. And snipe the ones that are farther away. Basically run around in a circle killing people which makes it easy to pick up what enemies drop like ammo and health.
That'd be great but honestly, at the moment I'm just playing games I want to play. If they blow up that's awesome but if not, hey I had fun and move onto the next!
Ive only played a little deadpool and wanna play it at some point but im most likely not going for the plat coz i suck at harder difficulty games😂 i got it on ps3 instead of ps4 too. Huge respect🎉 im more into DC but Deadpool is my favourite Marvel character coz hes just hilarious
Man, yeah I really did not enjoy this platinum at all myself. I was really bummed out when I found myself not really enjoying much of if any of the jokes the game had and the combat wasn't as fun as I wanted with the FPS problems and how generic the animations and combos were. , Platinum run was even worse. I was absolutely losing it over my hardest diff run and stupid me I had upgraded the sais so I had to do some cheese method that took way too long. Also I (do not) LOVE DP, lol
Yeah not going to be everyone's cup of tea and while I think it has room to improve overall I had fun with it. But yeah thank goodness for someone in my chat saying to leave the sai's alone because that made combos so much easier!
This game is super generic, even for the time. But hly shit is it fun to hear DP being DP. The ultraviolent difficulty does make you pull your hair out in some sections since it's quite unbalenced (looking at you final level). But overall, I love this game and will always keep my og ps3 copy. Love always, Bear!❤
