In an interview, Shawn levy said they were never gonna have any sort of end credit that acts like a commercial for something else. I think he also said it was always gonna be what we got.
I’m glad that these rumours hasn’t come true in the movie, and kept most of it as a deadpool & wolverine movie. As it will kill the hype for the next two avengers movies, which is all about that.
I feel the emotional disapointment on wades face when happy turn him down to join the avengers. I hope in the future he shows happy that he deserve to be an avenger
I remember the great ole days when the MCU shot amazing mid Credit/Post credit Scenes to tease what is next. To stop at Deadpool and Wolverine was dumb.
"that only 10% of viewers will see" my friend the whole mcu fanbase already has a Pavlovian response towards post credit scenes. So much so that sometimes in regular non marvel movies I still stay for the end cause there might be something there.
free outside sourced botted* engagement for the betterment of the video's algorythm lol, hence why youtubers dont really care about them unless they become too excessive
While it would have been cool for this movie to have huge ramifications for the MCU, I'm actually kind of glad they made it a bit smaller than what the original plan seemed to be.
iron man had time travel for a day or rather a night before the fight against thanos he needed to calibrate the time travel device and make sure it works, so he tests it on himself and ends up in the future in secret wars, during the film he finds out that he was meant to die in the fight against thanos, and that he HAS to go back in time to do the things he did in endgame and he HAS to die fighting thanos, that would make his death and his sacrifice have way more meaning and it would be a way to bring him back without ruining his memory and actually making it mean more not less
Notice all the rumors are attempts at making the dead Fox Verse relevant. All attempt to do so are at the expense of the MCU - no matter how many fan boys sp00ge 1st and ask questions later. The case is supposed to be - that you can't time travel to the past - you just create another timeline - another Universe in the multiverse. That's the MCU's original (PRE MICHAEL WALDRON WHO FKED IT INTO THE GROUND) logic. Deadpool - via Fox is based on all of it being a joke, so he can travel back in time and have sex with Abraham Lincoln and the result is the United States of Squirrel Girl. I mean it's all just silly shix. That's fine - but you can't tell a story you want people to take as anything other than an SNL skit and then try to keep it relevant by making it real and attaching it to something that is not just a big joke. In simple terms - these fan boy spooge mid credit scenes don't work and do damage the credibility of the MCU.
man, screw it, be negative when to talk about scoopers and post credit stuff be as negative about them as you want, the scoopers will not care, they'll make claim number 999, just show them that what "truth" they "hold" mean nothing
