Rob Liefeld is the creator of Deadpool, so the store behind them walking in slow motion is being called Liefeld's Just Feet, because he was known for drawing disproportionate extremities, is pure gold. Also during the cocaine bit, not sure if you heard that he mentions Feige, which is a reference to Kevin Fiege with is in charge of Marvel Studios.
The Ant-Man skull shot is great because it distracts you from the fact that Toad, Pyro, Azazel, Lady Deathstrike and other mutants are standing in the foreground
I realized it was his helmet, but I didn’t see the teeth before. After rewatch that is absolutely horrifying… But also, yeah, I totally missed the other mutants.
Also, it seems (not sure but it looks like it to me) that when they are both about to jump into the portal at the end, it looks like they are inside the skull and coming out of his eye socket. Look at the walls around it and the hole they jump out of.....
“Feige” was a reference to the president of marvel studios, Kevin Feige, basically saying that Deadpool can have free rein to do what he wants, but no drug use. Just another perfectly executed 4th wall break.
They werent giving free rein really though. They were messing some things up I know the movie was going to have captain marvel in it. But both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman refused to work with Brie Larson. And refused to even promote the movie or finish filming till their demands were met. Now the the re shoots have happened hopefully it will be a good movie.
@@Ajay-hr4ql Its no rumour she was in it. It was all over social media when she got fired about 2 months ago. I think Disney was trying to keep it under wraps but I follow Ryan Reynolds on social so I was kept up to speed with the movie most of the time.
Cassandra Nova,Antman's giant helmet, possibly Red Skull's car, Doctor Strange's portal. The F word count in this trailer was exponentially more than all of the MCU combined. :)
X-Men 97 and Deadpool and Wolverine within the same year. X-Men fans are eating good. 2:33 Also after X-Men 97 I'm starting to see so many people opening the eyes to how amazing characters like Storm, Cyclops are compared to the films which this be real gave all the attention to Logan. But 100% Hugh Jackman is the face of live action X-Men I just love how X-Men 97 gives anyone the star treatment.
I have a really strong suspicion that the Wolverine we see in this movie is the Wolverine from the current X-Men ‘97 cartoon. That show is going end with some kind of cliffhanger tying directly into the multiverse saga. Maybe an end credits scene in the final episode?
@@BoboftheOldeWays I love this idea and it would be a great explanation for why he is wearing the "Yellow Spandex". It would be way better than a random universe.
The woman fighting Wolverine is Cassandra Nova. Professor Xavier’s twin sister he killed in the womb but she managed to survive somehow. That’s all I know about her.
There is a timeline where Mysterio controls Wolverine with an illusion that makes him think a bunch of supervillains have invaded the mansion when in reality they are the other X-Men and Wolverine kills everyone by mistake. Also explains why he was hesitant to use the claws in the trailer because in that time like he made a vow not to use them because of the trauma of accidentally killing all the X-Men.
Yeah if I understand the idea myself, Deadpool accessed the 'multiverse' with that McGuffin he gained for those after credit scenes, so 'cannon' is kinda a fluid idea now. I'm half expecting a line from Wolverine like "why did you pick me?" and he comes back with "cause you're the only one that still wears the yellow suit!" and that's literally the only reason. And I kinda love it.
@@funnylilgalreactsCassandra Nova is a alien fugus slim type that takes Shape of cells . She slim her way into professor x mother while she was pregnant with professor x and Cassandra alien slim form cover baby professor X entire body in the womb and female professor X was born or say Cassandra Nova
I fully expect that at least some of the eastereggs hidden in both of the trailers either don't make it to the film or simply are (intentionally) left without payoff. And I'm totally fine with that.
deadpool is my fav and combined with wolvy and it will be hard to go wrong. great wholesome laugh you have there and you had me laughing along with the trailer as well.
So in that Ant-Man head shot..... I saw Lady Deathstrike (X2), Azazel (First Class), Pyro (on Red Skulls car), Bullseye (Collin Farrell), Callisto (X-Men Last Stand), Toad (Ray Park), and potentially that Russian guy from The Punisher movie?? I don't think we're ready for this movie.
@@harbscantina no it wouldn't. It would pass through his skull but his healing ability would still regenerate damaged tissue. You would have to stop him from regenerating to kill him.
The bald chick is Cassandra Nova. All I'll say is she's a villain created by Grant Morrison. She had psych powers. She's so fucking cool. I recommend with Grant Morrison's run on New X-Men or Tom Taylor's X-Men: Red if you want to know more about her.
Crazy that Cassandra Nova's base is a giant Ant-Man body with his arms wrapped around like a wall and his hands the front gate, and did anyone else notice Lady Deathstrike from X2 & Azazel from First Class in the scene.
It seems that the version of Wolverine we're getting is an adaptation of "Old Man Logan", which absolutely fits with the "This Wolverine let his world down" and that's a massive understatement. Like calling a Bugatti "just a car". Also, the bald woman is Cassandra Nova, aka Professor X's evil Twin that he killed in the womb, but her spirit/"Mummudrai" (as it's called in the comics) escapes to the sewer and creates itself a body. My guess is that She is the catalyst to this Wolverine's world going to shit instead of the original person in the comic story thus him potentially saying "Ok, I'll join you if you help me kill her".
Now I know why the Genosha Massacre in the X-Men 97 cartoon wasn't perpetrated by Cassandra Nova (the bald chick) like it was in the comic storyline. She's in this movie, it looks like, hopefully, as the main villain, always thought she was a great X-Men bad guy. In case you're wondering, she's Xavier's twin sister, extremely powerful psychic. But I've seen her using telekinesis too, even destabilizing matter like stripping the flesh off of Wolverine's arm during the X-Men's first encounter with her. Even when she was killed, she was able to possess her brother and use him to take over the Shi'ar empire. I'm curious how she'll be used in this movie, she was always an interesting villain
Xmen 97, and now Deadpool and Wolverine. They've made a better effort at what the xmen and their characters really mean. Hugh looks spectacular as he did in his first time as Logan. And it is a dream that I am now in the UCM...with Ryan, he made those 24 years. IT WOULD BE WORTH IT🔥🔥🙏🙏😭😭👍👍
Vanessa is alive. The mid/after credit of DP2 he steals Cable's time travel device and saves her. Hence why the TVA is visiting him in the teaser. He altered his timeline
The bald woman is Cassandra Nova. She is Xavier’s evil twin sister. She was born without a body, so she copied Xavier's DNA to create her own. While in the womb, Charles saw her as evil and tried to kill her, causing their mom to have a miscarriage. She survived, and spent decades building her physical form and mimicking human traits.
I know Hugh Jackman is really over a foot taller than Logan should be from the comics who is 5'3, Vut I don't even care because he looks so badass in that iconic Wolverine suit that we all wanted to see from all the X-MEN films, I cannot wait to see the film and great reaction.
Occult wise, the bald chick is Grant Morrison's dark feminine side. Pretty much any bald character in a Grant Morrison comic is just themselves in 2d. One time they was a subway pirate.
i think more than anything else this trailer kinda reveals the emotional aspects this movie is gonna take with wolverine & deadpool which is important if its gonna do really well. BUT LFGs really excited for the film
As someone who was obsessed as a kid with the 90's cartoon, Ive been pumped for this movie since they dropped stills of Hugh in the classic yellow suit 😆 This trailer was waaaay too much fun!
Deadpool as a character is like 4 days younger than me (I think it was July 30th 1991 he was created) he's one of my favorite characters and the movie will release on my birthday. I've never been to opening night (save for endgame) but I think if I don't go to this opening night the universe might actually take revenge on me 🤣 so me and some friends are watching for tickets
Was a version of the ancient one from doctor strange in this because it looks like they jump through portal that doctor strange would open. Also I wonder what happened to ant man because it wasn’t just his helmet sitting there. There was a skull inside the helmet. In that same shot of the helmet you can see azazel standing to the right of the helmet
02:26 Man,look at those shoulders!!!💪I skip most of the superhero movies expecially since they decided to link them ALL and to make SO MANY OF THEM for SO MANY YEARS 😵 but"Deadpool"is *the* exception!🤩❤🖤And,I mean, after all the references, you GOTTA love a crossover with Wolverine,FINALLY!💛💙
This looks like a lot of fun. I REALLY hope you watch X-Men 97. Its great even if you haven't watched the classic show, and I between that show and this trailer, I feel like the X-Men franchise is in good hands.
