Blake Lively as Lady Deadpool wasn’t something thought of for just this movie, Rob Liefeld said he based Ladypool on Blake Lively because he and his wife were obsessed with Gossip Girl and he said in a dreamworld, the only person he would think of to cast for her is Blake. So it was fate, 10 years in the making. The other people who played the notable variants of Deadpool were: Nathan Fillion as Headpool Matthew McConaughey as Cowboypool Wrexham A.F.C. player Paul Mullin as Welshpool Reynolds's stunt double Alex Kyshkovych as Canadapool And finally Reynolds and Lively's children Inez and Olin Reynolds as Kidpool and Babypool
Seeing this in theaters was a blast! Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds bounce of eachother so well. And the cameos are mind blowing, especially Gambit and Cavillrine.
@@chuck-dee Hollywood: "We need an accent strong enough to know Remy is Cajun, but soft enough that the rest of the world can understand him." Ryan Reynolds: "So get a dialect coach that's unintelligible to teach Channing to be unintelligible and then we'll have Deadpool make fun of how unintelligible he is." Cajuns: "WOO! THAT'S US!" 😂
The X-Men reactions have been one of my favorites so far. Right behind Twilight and the Zack Snyder JL reactions. 🤭 Can’t believe it’s almost over. Now we wait for Dark Phoenix. 🐦🔥
As somebody from southern Louisiana who grew up with Cajuns, Channing Tatum’s dialect is actually pretty spot on. Southern Louisianans are know to talk too fast while sounding we’re mumbling as well 😂😂😂
The suit up scene is still my favorite funny moment. The move after coming out of the elevator kills me every time. Also the line of "Your tailor is a predator by the way....". Amazing movie from beginning to end, I know this might be a hot take but having a Deadpool cameo going forward would be a cool thing in my opinion. Would definitely fit his character very well well
LFG!! This movie was so refreshing from Marvel because I have lost interest in keep up to date with the multiverse and this was the fan service I needed! My mouth dropped at Wolverine’s mask reveal.. and then drooled at his abs. 😹
Director Shawn Levy said in an interview that the one Wolverine variant they couldn’t get in the final cut was an ACTUAL Wolverine, and the joke was Wade shows up in the woods and after he goes up to it, Deadpool gets absolutely mauled. They came up with the idea late in production and there was not enough time or budget to get a realistic looking CGI wolverine to use in the scene. Also the other variants are: Genuinely comic accurate short king, YES Wolverine is 5’ 3” in the comics Crucified Wolverine from Uncanny X-Men 251 Patch, which is Wolverine’s alias when he goes undercover in fancy places “Glam Rock Logan” is Wolverine from Age Of Apocalypse And finally the classic John Byrne brown and tan outfit is from when Wolverine first fought The Hulk in the comics.
Waited all morning and skipped all other reactions to this movie all for my favorites! Super excited to see both of you watch an “X-Men” movie for the first time together! Loved this movie and I love you both. Ring that bell everyone! ❤❤
The cameos in this movie are used for such specific, deep-cut jokes that I almost can't blame anyone who misunderstand inclusions like Gambit to be "pointless and random". Deadpool 3 is to Flash/MoM as Rescue Rangers was to Space Jam: A New Legacy.
I can’t wait for their first appearance in secret wars, and I kinda wanna see how The MCU will do the personality swap with Peter and Logan from marvel comics, it’s funny as (censored, for reasons) But also amazed that Logan got to show his animalistic side on all fours, such a good stunt
The AT4, I think, is a reference to Ray Stevenson’s Punisher cause he has a hilarious scene with the same launcher. Thought maybe it was tribute to him since we lost him recently.
Crazy enough, I saw this in 3D IMAX. Did not expect them to have a 3D IMAX. But they did. Kind of wish I would have just seen it in regular IMAX because it was super dim because of 3D IMAX. However I did enjoy the entirety of the movie. That Blade reveal was amazing, and also Channing Tatum Gambit was completely unexpected. Love this movie
The only issue I had with the movie was Wade and Vanessa being separated...again. Seemed unnecessary considering their relationship in the last 2 Deadpool films. They could've stayed together but still have Wade be depressed and it wouldn't have changed the overall film. I mean, they already whittled her role down even more than the last 2, why not make her someone who'll never leave his side no matter what? It's still a fun film nonetheless, just a little nitpick that didn't work for me.
Man that Fox U tribute was super emotional. I was 20 when X-men came out, fresh out of college. I couldn’t get anyone to see X-men with me so I went alone. All these years later, not only is DP&W a great send off, but I’ve had my entire adult life happen during those movies. And it’s a joy for them to all be remembered so fondly.
I would not personally call this the best MCU movie or best Deadpool movie, but I did love every minute of it. The cameos were so perfect and unexpected. This movie felt almost like what I think many of us expected or thought Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was going to be. I got almost as excited to see this reaction as I was to see this movie for the first time in theaters. Funny thing is I never even realized or remembered until I saw your X-Men 2 reaction, the NSync song, "Bye Bye Bye", played briefly on the car radio in a scene, which added another layer of easter egg references to this movie for me. I hope they release an extended cut of this movie. I will say, personally, I liked the outfit the Wolverine variant wore that fought Hulk better than the yellow one. Ironically, I vaguely remember Hugh Jackman saying in an interview back when the Logan movie came out, the only way he would come back as Wolverine is if he got to be with the Avengers and he also wanted to fight the Hulk. I do wish the movie were even longer & I wish Cassandra Nova had an even much bigger role in the movie. I imagined Dennis Leary would be so proud seeing that post-credit, lol. To me at least, it seemed like an almost perfect impression of a Denis Leary rant. The ending did get me teary-eyed too being the end of an Fox Marvel era.
Well, I remember reading something that Wolverine is probably from a universe where he killed his fellow X-Men but it was not intentional. I remember reading that in that universe he was hypnotized by a famous Marvel Supervillain. Probably Mysterio. Not 100% sure. But that’s what I remember reading.
I only just watched this for the first time today, and it was AMAZING! I managed to avoid most of the spoilers, although I did hear about Gambit and Blade, which didn't spoil anything for me. I screamed when Cavill came on screen 😂
I fully understand that I am in the minority but this movie really bothered me. Its probably the worst of the Deadpool movies. Its full of an over use of joke after joke after joke to the point that nothing else gets the chance to breath and play out. Additionally, this movie heavily relied on cameos to move the very weak story/plotline.
LFG. Blades entrance was the best for me. I reverted back to being 13 years old when Wesley Snipes made his badass walk entrance. "There has only been one Blade. There's only ever gonna be one Blade." Then Deadpool rolling his eyes to the screen as he smiles with his mask on is just awesome. Gambit saying not sure when he was born and the Void being his only means the movie didn't even reach pre-production reference was a nice in-joke. There are so many in-jokes and it can go on forever and ever. Gambit does make it home in the end if you watch the monitor screen in the end credits during the Johnny Storm recording as he insults Cassandra Nova.
This movie was super helpful, because I couldnt personally picture Cavill in the role, and wanted them to go with a comic-height accurate actor. Now that I've seen what both of those things look like, my opinion is now the opposite. Cavill is perfect and 5'3" does _not_ translate to live action lol
😒🤨 OK let me understand this. Do you really believe that people will think this is your first time watching this movie? Really? A movie that everyone saw in the cinemas and you not and this is your firts time watching? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You guys censored Wolverines nose bleeding when Deadpool punched him in the car?? Really?.... Come on. We're adults. You don't need to censor a nosebleed 🙄
Three times last month... we got videos completely demonetized for ONE SECOND in each video.... a second lol. This is not an exagerration. They've been a holes towards us. We kept a little more in here and am literally checking every 10'min to make sure it's fine haha
Plus old man Logan's adamantium got weaker. In a early Xmen movie wolverine survived an adamantium bullet to the skull ,but in Logan it would be enough to kill him.
Wow, y’all timed it to the day. Literally the day it comes out on digital is the day you guys watch it? That’s pretty freaking sick. I love good scheduling.
