Oh man! I remember I played this game at Chuck E. Cheese once with my sister and my brother many years ago. We made it pretty deep into the game too, we made it about halfway through the Kraken Boss Fight before we ran out of credits. I didn't know the title of the game, and the mere moments and bits and pieces from this game just stuck with me and It took so long to find the walkthrough of this game on RU-vid, and now watching this, The Nostalgia, the old memories are just flooding back into me!
I remember this game as well as the one where you were tourists in the jungle and you had to escape. There was like spiders and a tarantula and then there were mushrooms. The final boss was like a butterfly or something. It was called Lost Jungle or something and it was my entire childhood
i played this with my dad like 5 years ago (special edition) and i didnt stop till i get atleast top 10 and we went there so often that like 25%of the rankings are our names
Big props to this game for how they integrated the wheel function in the cabinet…sure it’s pretty gimmicky and >90% of the gameplay is gun-based, but man it would feel so hype during the sequences when you grabbed the wheel to survive.
I still consider beating this game on a single life to be one of my greatest victories. The star next to my name on the leaderboard was so awesome to see
Dude, this game was my literal childhood. Me and my dad would play this all the time every time we went to an arcade, and revisiting it to this day brings back memories.
Am I the only who always dual wields the move controllers whenever I have no one playing with me on the side of the couch? This is one of those games I enjoy, most of these on rail shooters are my favorite, from LGJ, to The Jurassic park game. But this is one of my personal favorite arcade games, and whenever I see it, I play it.
I remember being at a chuck e cheese seeing a kid a good 5 years younger than me struggling with this arcade game I joined to help him. We manage to go farther than I anticipated and with managed to beat the entire game. So the first time I ever beat this game was with a random kid I saw struggling. If you're out there, I hope you're doing well.

2012,2013,2014,2015,2016 me and my brother EVERY TIME we went in the arcade we played this and we completed it only one time thanks to other kids that were at the final, so nostalgia, rip my mum and dad money ahhahahaha
It's mostly because nearly all of these games were made in Japan For Japan, and they'd have a VERY small budget to localize them to bring them to American arcades. Like, "Hey, you, the guy on the sidewalk, wanna make 50 bucks reading some lines into a microphone?" small. This video talks about it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WjnRvDulhek.html
@@BDNeon It's the same with a lot of early Manga stuff as well. Me and my mate used to joke that it sounded like they'd just got the Janitor to do some of the voices in stuff like The Guyver.
I like how some of the characters here actually react against 'that one annoying character' instead of simply continuing to tolerate his crap like in many other games lol
Those people with the scythes are really difficult and there are a lot of other cheap moments but it is really amazing. These are my favorite lightgun games: -Time Crisis (of course) -House of the Dead -Deadstorm Pirates -Lets Go Island and Lets Go Jungle -Those two Transformers games -The Jurassic Park game -The Walking Dead
Thanks a lot. This is a very good, kind, arcade co-op Shooter, my little nephew loves it. We always play "Deadstorm Pirates" in the hall of arcade machines, in the amusement park, near my home.
This one game played a very important part in my childhood. I will never forget going to the arcade in the mall on a saturday, begging my dad to play this game with me. Good times😊
Watching this bringa back the nostalgia and i just found out the name of the game, this game was so hard but its so addicting to play i even completed it 3 times it was so fun
So we went to the movies in Arundel Mill mall to see the movie called moana and then we stopped by an arcade me and my dad we both of us just playing this game called Deadstorm Pirates and we beat the whole game on the arcade machine he was a good team player and we actually combine our guns are golden guns and we beat the whole game and we got the Poseidon's breath and we won the game it was fun though but we got tired and then we got off of it and go home it was fun though but we got tired me and my father both it was a blast hope we can play it again someday on that day maybe.
The voice actin OMG.... But hey the gameplay was awesome! Played it with my friend and we was like "That one" "No that one first". And we lose because we can't cooperate.
man good old day i remember this when i used to play with my dad in the mall we aren’t playing it anymore cus im bored lol edit:I’ve returned ,this game just pop up in my head randomly for some reason so i came back and also i fixed my grammar :D
Dude… this game brings back so much nostalgia. I played it one time at a place called game works. I had an unlimited pass and I played almost the whole game. It was AMAZING.
Played on holiday with me old man cost us a tenner and got second on the leaderboard most epic thing was one life was 50 pence so 20 lives done it arcade cabinet was slightly harder...
It's so great this fine game got a well deserved console port in 2010, which is sadly rarely the case with other gun games these days. Hope it'll be possible to play the upgraded version with the two extra stages at home eventually too.
Yep, I suspect we'll have to wait for the arcade version to either get hacked or emulated for that to happen though, unfortunately, as I don't think Namco have any interest in port the extra stages. At least we also got ports of House of the Dead 3 & 4 last gen (as well as Overkill) and Time Crisis 4 and Razing Storm.
Yeah, and I highly doubt it too. But we got the original version on PS3, and won't dare complain that much. I also really hope we'll eventually have Time Crisis 5 on PS4 one day before long, if the issue of having a viable gun controller on that console, that'll work okay with HDTV's gets resolved. The GunCon 3 & PS Move worked fine I thought though. That, and would also love to see games such as Let's Go Jungle, Operation G.H.O.S.T., and others. I'm really hoping Terminator: Salvation, and Aliens: Armageddon, along with Jurassic Park/World will also get released, but is highly unlikely due to licensing issues though.
FYI, Aliens: Extermination has been hacked to run on PC, I managed yto get it up and running the other day: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PPlgU9cZRuk.html
Idk y but when I was young, I only watched it, I didn’t really play it at Timezone. But still, this game made my childhood, Every time I think about it’s gives me shivers and nostalgia
yeah, there was a special edition (which I believe came out after the PS3 release, but don't quote me on that) with two more levels, and I believe an extra final boss. One of them was some sort of bird boss, and I don't think I saw the other.
When I was very young, I would play this game every time I had the chance at an arcade store, but always play alone and never good at it. One time i was defeated and had no coin left, but as I about to leave this random couple decided to invite me to play together. I sat in the middle between them control the steering wheel while they shot everything on the sceen. We lost a few time but had enough lives to complete the game. I never knew their names or remembered their faces. But I wish them nothing but happiness throughout their lives, as they gave one of mine.
I play this game everytime i go to the arcade And my dad helps me play this game But sometimes when both of my parents are with me in the arcade im the one who stirs the stirring wheel lol
Juegaso!! Eso yo lo jugué una vez de pequeño, y una vez cuando estaba caminando por unos salones de árcade me encontré esta joyita :'), simplemente épico.
The last boss fight was actually really cool, don't know why but when that skeleton pirate screamed as he tore reality with that Poseidon's breath i got anime vibes lmao XD
I played this today at Sugoi, Finland. I enjoyed this way more than Maze Of The Kings, mostly because voice acting wasn't as cheesy and it was the Japanese version. No need to reload your weapon, some variety in tasks... Only minus is the quiktime events, and I even failed few.
Me and my dad always play this game when we go to Dave n Busters. The first few times we even played, my dad turned the wheel, but now I push him out of the way at those segments.
