well, the fourth game has.... a larger than a t rex abomination with four brawny arms and having a horrid face with the tongue sticking out, which chasing at you around the sewer and put his hideous face right into the screen before he bites you
The Fool is my most favorite boss in the whole series. Legitimately frightening when you get locked in the cage with that creature feeding on dead bodies. He is also tough and fast and his weak points keep moving, and when he shakes the cage and you have to shoot the falling dead bodies, true horror vive, unlike say Judgement in HOD 2 who is a joke and says stuffs like "suffer like G did" but we never see any that he caused and needs the body guard Kurl. Also Fool in HOD 3, the final attack he is so fast you have to shoot his claws really quick and then watching him fall to his death at last. Truly my most favorite boss in the whole series and should definitely return if there are any more future HOD titles..
a few things 'the fool' did to me : -stopped underestimating video game enemies, i remember seeing it and thinking "oh a sloth, they're slow right?" only for it to swing at me with mach 2 speed. -Love tarot cards, long before jojo i loved tarot cards thanks to the fool, the magician and the world. -have claustrophobia for a while -Love the mutation and zombie genre, just like resident evil
*The "FOOL" was the hardest one in my experience* Specially when you play it in 2 Player mode, they take less damage from individual bullets in 2 player mode.
Brings back the old memories of having played this game. I always enjoyed defeating the boss FOOL as it was the most entertaining boss to deal with. Defeating it with no damage was always my main goal everytime I played this game.
Daniel: You're not my Father! Curien: Yes, I am your Father! Daniel: NOOOOOO!!!!!! (Shoots his Father) *Me: He maybe your Father Boi, but he wasn't your Daddy...*
Symbolism of the bosses here: -Death: The monster embodies all the qualities that the card is known for: relentless, unstoppable and won't stop till you are dead. -Sun: Represents openness, positiveness and upbeat, plus is serene and blissful. The monster is negative, enclosed on a space, impatient and certainly not blissful, and the only thing that gets him bliss is your death, plus the environment is dark, meaning that is a bringer of darkness. -Fool: the monster embodies all the qualities that its known for: he is the 2nd beginning boss, but also can be the 4th one, and although displayed for evil purposes, he is deceivingly strong and fast, and certainly not innocent, plus is courageous to a certain point. -Wheel of Fate: Represents good luck, karma, life cycles, destiny and turning points. The monster itself embodies bad luck, not karma, and life cycles, along with turning points, but misusing them due to its mind being too twisted, or at least following a twisted version of them, believing itself to be god.
I always love these kinds of comments for THotD, and what i love about THotD; the bosses have always had arcana names that symbolize something, either by contradiction or similarity
Holy crap, your skill at this game is legendary! I remember I loved this game when I first got my original Xbox and I would always beat it every playthrough, but I was never quite this good.
Tbh, when i was still a kid, The Fool(Sloth head, as i called it before) was scary as fuck. Everytime i tried playing the game in the arcade, i give the gun to a friend if it was the Fool's time.
Every time I play this game I was not scared. I got so angry every time I was so close to beating the whole game and having to restart all over again I know it's an arcade but I had it on the Xbox
there is an arcade here by my area with a fully functional arcade cabinet that thank goodness hasn't been destroyed by people who can't handle a fake shotgun
Curien: I am a brilliant scientist. There's no way you can guess my weakness! Goku: You have a big glowy thing on the center of your chest. Is that your weakness? Curien: Inconceivable! How did you know my weakness? Goku: Are we not supposed to be able to see the big glowy thing on your chest? Gohan: Look, just give it up. If my dad can guess your weak spot, you have an obvious problem.
11:42 Yea I'm sure a shotgun can shoot a bird flying that high and that far away. If they do, why farmers even bother to use slow hunting rifles anyway?
@@theotv5522 mate that bird is at best 100 feet away a combat shot gun can reach 40-50 feet without pellets missing the target the size of a human torso that would kill a human pretty easily at double the distance and with a smaller target yeah most pellets will will miss t but its a bird 1 pellet out of about 30 hits it and the bird is pretty much dead Plus if this shotgun is using slug rounds its pretty much a rifle
@The 4th Komodo you can na redhorse y be able to determine how much I am a good yyyyyyyyy6 be able to get a chance for the attached file for the attached file is attached file for the attached file is attached as q be a good 1
Uf, qué recuerdos. Lo jugué en PC en 2006, me lo pasó un compañero de la prepa. La verdad ya ni me acordaba del juego, pero me apareció el video por casualidad y en cuanto vi el título me acordé.
nobody will play it anyway, since arcade games are now, well, old. people now play on the pc, consoles and shit, and the lockdowns of restaurants also stacks the problem.
This game absolutely scared the living shit out of me when I was still a kid and all the other kids in the arcade heard my screaming but instead of laughing they sympathized. Guess I wasn't the only one.
Srsly, Wheel of Fate is very dope boss. The way he changes forms and the whole stage distorts around you as you fight him makes it one of the best, if not the best, final boss battles in House of the Dead
