Deadwood 1876 is designed by Travis Hancock and it's a semi cooperative game for 2-9 players, playing time 20-40 min. and is for the ages 13+. Who will be the last person standing with all the gold.
I like this game a lot. However I never played it rules as written. I don't likeparty games lol I made very effective shootout solo rules I need to share sometime. A big problem is even though the wooden dice are a nice size with rounded edges, the pips are painted on so they're rubbing off. I use a Star Wars X-wing neoprene playmat. I can't imagine what they'd look like on a table.
Thank you so much for your lovely playthrough in 2 player mode! I enjoyed it! And your descriptions and explanations were great! This really gives me a good intro to play with my daughter. Keep up the great work!
Mange Tak!! Will likely be playing with 5-6+ next week, and even though you did two players, your explanations helped flesh out other videos with more players.
I bought on KS and played with some friends, but it seems that I was playing wrong. Watching now, i see that I was playing ALL wrong hahah. Thanks for the video! You both are lovely :)
When this comes in, I look forward to a night of playing all three Facade Games. I would have never considered trying this at two, but I am happy to see that it worked for you!
You guys are adorable. I love games that look like books, I own a few and some I haven't even played, I just bought them because they looked like books LOL
billmacp on each location there is a limit on how many players there is room for and it depends on the number of players in a two player game the limit is 2 and the players on the same location is kind of working together to have the most gold at showdown . There will be dueling especially if your playing with more players so you can move and swap place with other players. In this game we both thought we had the most gold in our location so we didn’t go for swapping place.
Game4LifeBG thank you 😊. But why did you think you had most gold at that location? How can you judge or guess the amount of gold at a location? Sorry and thanks again
The safe cards has one card with 3 gold, two with 2 gold and four with 1 gold. I thought that my 3 gold and the extra player might have a gold would have been enough, but in this case it wasn't enough. I could have moved to her location, with a horse, I should have done just that in this case :D
@@Game4LifeBG so, had you moved with a horse, you would've ended the game in a showdown that that way, rather than her winning with her gold alone. Got it.
