dude, you're actually really funny, your references to 70's Hong Kong kung-fu movies, your scenario, no thrills low budget full of ideas videos are really cool. You made me laugh in the first minute of it, and actually clapped my hands saying; haha, that was funny...
This is a dream trip! I’m falling in love with the Monkey and have never been on one. I drove a 1983 Honda cb450 and love the small Honda engines. Great ride!
I just love this video... Your sense of humour and the camera angles as well.. Those Harley riders had given a glance of admiration and amusement for you and the Monkey.. Just enjoyed it... Keep going 💪💪💪 😄😄.
As a Monkeybiker myself I realy enjoyed your adventure to Sturgis 👍🙈😎 great editing sir, you have my subscription 👌 I have lots of adventures on my Monkey here in the UK 🇬🇧 PS stock seat always 😅😂👍
Greetings from this side of the Atlantic Ocean!😃 The dramatic event that ocurred, when he was on his way to work, was awesome! Even way better than the whole last Star Wars triology with Rey!💯🤣 I could easily imagine it being narrated by David Attenborough, like a british voice describing a mating ritual in a episode of National Geographic.😂 "The human species is a curious one... Often the male ask some kind of permission to the female, less the male doesn't mind peeling his banana on his own later at night... So, this grumpy male, was on his way to work... But, was unfortunate to step on a banana peel, left on the ground by some other primate that populate the area... And after crashing its body against the coconut tree nearby, on his way to ground, he was hit&encapsulated by a falling coconut, which made him groggy... Like a drunk kung fu motorcyclist at Sturgis during the Wet T-Shirt Contest... Until he finally stumbled and falls on a working 2 wheel monkey raft and he's taken away by the river of tarmac, very far, far away from that place..." 😅 Wow! I've never seen such a seat! That seat looks really great, specially if you're looking to photograph your bike, but the original is way better to ride a long trip.🍑❤🩹 Beautiful and interesting scenarios on your way to Sturgis! Nice choice of melodies as well. And the roads look in good shape... It makes wanna ride on it. Was it boring, taking in account the fact that Honda Monkey has very low maximum speed, and the jurney made on very long straight roads? I love H.D. bikes but i have the same opinion about it: overrated and overpriced, indeed. And they overconsume too much fuel too. «The Honda Fury resembles a Praying Mantis!» - Hilarious analogy!!!🤣I love that bike! Not the insect in matter.😅 The Honda VTX is impressive! Great choice! Have a great week, ride safe, and watch good movies!🏍💨✌😎 (PS: you forgot to turn On the automatic Subtitles.😉)
Well, 1# you found out the bigger original seat, although not as "Cool looking" as the little thin silly seat. Would have made this trip a lot more live able. I made the almost same exact trip from MN in a Jeep Grand Cherokee last fall, and my butt never got sore!
What an adventure. I bet you wished you had put the stock seat back on for that ride. You're inspiring me to try a longer road trip. I have a 2019 Monkey and love it. After riding the Monkey for three years, I thought bigger would be better as well and purchased a KTM 390 Adventure. I'm glad I kept the Monkey because I don't like the KTM after all. I would like to test ride the new Honda SCL500 and the new Triumph 400's that are coming out. I sat on the SCL at my local dealership and it kind of felt like a larger Monkey, so I'm anxious to give it a go. Looking forward to your future videos.
Yeah, I did regret not putting the OEM seat back on. You definitely should go an adventure. You owe it to yourself because you deserve it. Thanks for watching :)
Hi man. Great video. I found it because Im buying a stock monkey bike and going camping on it straight away. Im also going to put my insta360 on mine. How far away is the camera from you? It looks pretty cool
So wehen it comes to highways with 65+ mph what do u do? Do you ever ride the shoulder or just ignore everybod? Im curious kus i wanna try it on my spade 150
I want something with fat wheels, and to my knowledge, the VTX is the only Honda with that option. I lean towards Honda because I’ve always had good experience with their cars.
Can't wait to buy my Monkey this summer, had a 2014 Grom in 2014 when they came out. Sold it to buy a 2017 FZ09, big mistake. The FZ was fast, big, fun but too much bike for my needs. Missed my Grom too much, sold the FZ09 to buy a 2019 CB300R, aka the Big Grom. Loved it, did everything right but I crashed into a deer going 90kmh. The CB didn't survive 😢 After one year without riding I'm ready to ride again, all healed up, so it's Monkey time 😊 Love watching your videos, they are very well made. Beautiful Monkey, good choice in mods 👍
The mount Rushmore one is great, looking forward to the Sturgis vid. I'm in the UK and own a Ducati 900ss ie and a Ducati 996,hoping to get a Monkey at the end of the year.@@monkeyfever 👍
I have friends in Italy that i rode down on my 900ie in 2015 and i want to do the trip down there again on a monkey, it's all about the journey. I will ride through France then over the Alps into Italy, i know the route, anyway keep up the fantastic vids and god bless you and your family and friends!!@@monkeyfever
Most of the folks just mind their own business, and when they approach me, it’s usually to compliment my Monkey. Anyways, I did it for the Monkey enthusiasts :)
Your ridiculous "woke" comment aside, it sounds like you want an adventure bike like the Honda CRF300L Rally or Kawasaki KLX300SM or the Suzuki DRZ400SM.
I think the perfect bike for you is the Honda CL500. It’s a compromise between the Monkey and a larger bike. There are also a ton of aftermarket parts since it’s a rebel!
Awesome, I'm thinking about buying a monkey, it's a toss between a monkey or Honda Super cub, doesn't seem like you can get as much gear on a monkey than on a cub??not sure, new subscriber n great video btw.
I believe the Super Cub is a 4 speed automatic. The Monkey is a 5 speed manual. Thanks for the kind words and the sub. I’m glad you enjoyed. Hopefully it made your day a little bit brighter.
I might have to try it one day. But when I have enough room, I am leaning towards a VTX 1800, because it’s a toy that I can play with. It’s the only Honda with an aftermarket fat wheels option
@@monkeyfever good luck with the search! If you can only have one bike (like most of us), you want to get something you love to ride and can make your own.
Great content bro. U make me feel that monkey fever. I want one. Best price new for 2023 is 4599 here in Ireland. Probably need to lower the seat height. Could I just lower the back shocks and leave the front forks alone as it looks to complicated for a newbie like me.
