Huge. The only version that can't ever be beaten - this obviously completely subjective - was when i saw them live. 1 time only. A regret. Apparently when i was younger i didn't like mark's voice, i can't imagine anything else. So with 32 summers on the countet seeing the fall heads roll tour in antwerp (3rd row or something, allez, in front) i rarely or maybe never saw and heard a rythm section (bass player+drummer) as (ass) tight as that fall crew. Thus, hairs on end and difficult to sit still every time this song reaches me. Thanx!!!

Excellent work. The Peel version nails it, though: I still recall listening in astonishment and desperately waiting for some bugger to upload it! (Luckily it came along only days later and the rip was a crisp ear-shredding beauty, still oddly the recording I prefer despite having grabbed the sessions box as soon as it came out.) No.5 comes bloody close, though. So 1 and 5 for me.
