She indeed became more more amazing after these came after her. She is like a warrior with lots of medal overcoming so many obstacles. She continues to bring Memories of tragedy into comedy and tears. Comedy is to bring laughter to relief pain to heal your heart on the things you cannot control. Tears is like healing balm getting things out of system, and source of humility that you finally beat it all. It really makes you stronger than pain and painful memories.

I think all God was doing was making it clear to her heart that sin and evil do not rule her life, it is her own God given will to live without worry of the inevitable. He showed her death will come, and that there is more than death, so she should be happy.

Ya those words helped me too. If it's any consolation, this is my straight 7th rough year I'm going through! But hey I had a above than average 6 years before that so yes everything has a time limit. So patiently holding out for this rough patch to end.

I had a bad childhood and I'm 28,since 11 years in therapy. It's true it's time limited. The hard thing to do is to have staying power. And always look for plan B or C. Suizid is a plan too, but it should never be plan B. It's Plan z, because there aren't any plans after that and thankfully even if it hard to see, there are many different letters in the alphabet before z. So have a staying power and believe in your beautyfull strong self. And I know that everyone who read this comment is a strong person, then if you are not strong enough to read this, it's because you already took plan z and that would be sad.

I went out with a deaf girl for a while. She was wonderful, she talked so well and read lips so well it was hard to believe she was deaf. Her accent was so subtle. She introduced me to her friends, it was quite the experience. They live in their own world. I've never realized how much our culture is unaccessible if you can't hear. It felt they were on another wave length.

I too have been exposed to deaf culture and it is amazing. I am now taking ASL classes in college and I will have taken 5 levels by when i transfer.

There's a "deaf colony" (aka deaf friendly apartment complex) near where I grew up. I met a lot of nice deaf people at church and my school had a big ASL program. My parents and a couple of my siblings got really good at ASL. The people I met were super nice and their culture is fascinating.

You shouldn't really joke about those things. In here she is doing it to lighten up the mood about the subject and make atleast a person's day better. Because she already have been through it and she is trying to not make it depressing and sad while telling her story. There's a difference between joking about serious topics and lightening up the mood. Some people really confuse that a lot because their whole life has become nothing but a joke, that's all they wanna do.

I was ‘normal’ until I had a brain aneurism! When I woke from my coma I couldn’t walk, I was a pain to everyone around me! Then I had a similar experience as this young lady had! Nine months after I ‘recovered’ from my aneurism I was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I’m still here, I’m walking, the doctors and Specialists said I should be dead! I’m still here with a very warped sense of humour! Thank God they didn’t pull the plug! My neurologist has the same weird sense of humour as me, we’re the best of friends, which drives everyone else insane!

Friday I passed three years since my stroke. Three years ago, I could not swallow. I was fed through a tube. I was confined to a wheelchair. I couldn't talk right. Nothing worked like before. I couldn't go to the bathroom without help. I'm still here! I went to church today. I saw friends and ate with them and talked with them. They love me. I love them. They don't realize that they keep me alive. Then, I drove myself home, where I live alone. But, I know that God is with me. I'm still here because He must have something yet for me to do that only I can do. Pray that I live to do it!

I work with stroke patients and carers and I can barely understand the stress, pain, and determination of these individuals such as you. It is wonderful to see resilience, and do not be scared to let your friends know what they mean to you. Time alone, even if sometimes may be longer than you want, is a good way to take care of yourself, and continue discovering little pleasures in every day life. Wish you the best!

Something about what she said that everything has a time limit... really hit me, when i was 12 i was raped for 2yrs and the only thing that kept me alive was knowing everything has an ending, even tho i didnt know how long my suffering would last for which killed me not knowning but it did end and i haven't looked back since. What a inspirational video thank you :)

Thank you everyone, i guess everybody never understands their true potential and how strong ones power is. It was an unfortunate past that was commited by my own half brother. But never the less its made me a honest person with deep true emotion for every being. I'm sorry for what you had gone through at 12 to stay alive, but i guess it made feel better that people are doing there own battles w life whatever they maybe seems selfish, but it must be a copeing thing. After all that badluck i like to think only good can come now, never compare just embrace what you have because it can be taken in a second.

I think it's unfair that people compare struggles to eachother and oh look, mine is nothing compared to that. I don't deserve to complain, whine nor feel sad. No . You do not compare struggles like that. If that's the way the world works then there's always be someone having it worse than what they are currently experiencing, so by that logic no one should be allowed, or deserve to complain, or be sad etc. Like ever. So no, it doesn't work that way. Someone having it worse exists out there, but that doesn't automatically devalue your struggle just because your struggle seem smaller than them. Alllw yourself to feel, maybe be sad, let it out for a moment. It's ok to do. Just so long as one remembers it's not the end of the world

I was actually blessed to meet this beautiful and strong woman while working for a large major telecommunications company down in Burbank. I was fixing her telephone and internet and just happened to see DVD's with her on the front cover, curiosity got the best of me so I asked her about them. We sat and chit chatted for hours talking about life in general and how we had similarities, was a day that I will never forget, she is amazing, smart and beautiful woman.....

I cannot express with words how much I admire and respect the bravery of this woman. She humbled me more in this 7 minutes than I could do by myself in the last couple of months. I guess everyone likes to think his current problems are the most important ones - it’s so easy to get lost in selfpitty. To loose perspective, even by the time we should know better. But still we cling to our ego - our little grudge we hold inside. The past, the resentment we just can’t let go. Yeah, until life teaches us better. Hopefully we can let go until it’s to late.

im wearing aids too and her story is relateable. i was not born deaf but i got ear infection which lead to hearing loss. when i entered my first year university, it's really hard for me. I gave my best to the people around me so they will be my friends. i don't want to go to university as I really scared of how people thinks and treat me. thank God is on my side, I got a really supportive housemates. we've been together for almost three years. i really thankful to have them in my life :') ❤️ ps: 2018 was the hardest year for me. and to think about it again, i am so proud of myself for not giving up and she's truly powerful and amazing 💓

Of all the comedians I watched as a kid on CBC's Just For Laughs (yes I know, but we were poor and could only watch the free channels. I had little options lol), she is the only comedian I remember. This was wonderful!
