Deal History Part 4; This video will take you for a walk around a part of Deal from oak St. to Farrier St. down to Middle St. up Coppin St. down Brewer St. along Middle St. and back up Oak St to the seafront, I have tried to describe what it was like in this area when I was a young'un, in the 1950's, good old days never to be seen again.

I remember the fish and chip shop on Middle St. We later moved from the High St to Walmer and there was another good chippie up a back street off the front. Couple who owned it always fighting but good fish and chips!

I remember the boats you name but not all the owners and sometimes boatmen but not there boats .sad getting old.thanks dave.it was going out in the spray with you all those years ago...

@@davidskardon4204 IAM not so clever with this internet stuff but here goes.i ran Alan's boat was it the Rob Marie anyway sorry the confusion if my user name it's colin.i still keep in touch with Billy...I remember in the early 70s we drove to sandwich Bay it was big springs and we found an old wreck and got a lot of pig iron from her.thanks you message mate
