Regarding flame whiplash 2, this is just another reason why removal of blade stance switching is regrettable. Such good readability and overall game feel when doing the instant awaken with axe because of the stance switch animation being the visual queue, let alone stance switching allows the weapons to almost combo into themselves. The instant frost awaken fully realizes this notion in ragnarok, so it almost doesn't make sense that the blades don't have stance switch, as much as it is just this persons preference. Anyway, neat video, thanks for making it!

My ability to successfully execute Flame Whiplash goes like this: vs. Niflheim training ground mob: > 90% vs. Gna and Berserker King: < 10% I feel like my brain is trolling me.

The axe has the same button sequence, the frost awakened uppercut comes out differently than a regular strong attack. It’s pretty fun 😄

This might be a silly question but how about a shield guide vid?

Nice! I didn't know you could do it with the shield strike. That's an easy way to do it. The first R1 attack is easy to time also. I couldn't figure out the timing of the other moves until after I watched this video because the delay is so much longer than you'd think it'd be. Very helpful. I'm killing it now!

Thanks. I used to be curious as to how people dealt so much damage with a whiplash. Specially the ones where they’d one shot boss enemies. Finally I learnt from you. 😂😂 it’s fun. The haptic feedback cue is really helpful. How’d you figure it out ?

Just wait until the controller vibrates and then press triangle, no need to make a big deal of the timing Also why not use shatter star shield in this since it cancels into attacks faster?

I wish they had given the Blades a delayed attack sequence like the Axe has. It makes timing the Awaken ability far easier.

Spamming Triangle is faster than the instant reset CD. I can get them off 30% faster just spamming it. t's not intended to be chained if that's the case. it's more for nuanced siatuations

I’ve been trying to perform the Scorch Sweep MAAAAAANY times, and I was doing it right, too. But Kratos keeps thinking I’m trying to do Scorpion’s “Get over here!”. How do you do THAT?

Does anybody know the trick to rapidly throwing spears? Its so fast its hard to keep up with. Tap L1 to bring up shield momentarily before holding L2 and tapping R1. Rinse and repeat. The trick is gaining the swift spear skill

Next time instead of random music add the original sound from Game so it will trigger hearing memory along...

Im playing and feel like its abit bugged my spear wont stick into the walls to let me traverse the enviroment and im not getting the ydrisil dew from nornir chest only 10 shattered runes and the same enchanment you would get on your 1st play through 🤔

I dont think this is working snymore , im mixing it with souless warrior, valorois bloodthurst , enraged might and arcane strength, its hardly affecting enemies like berseker King

Heres a tip, when you use the shield, wait until you see a glow effect on the shield, wait just a tiny bit after it and boom. E.G with the dauntless shield, there is a green glow, wait a bit til it kinda goes and use it.

Just wait for the vibration it's so easy 😌

it's such a broken game mechanic when you have the right build though. - and that's the key thing really.. what you add and build up on kratos everything seems to stack and when you get a direct hit after a charge with the right equipment it just disintergrates bosses... it's just made even more broken by the fact you can burn and then apply ice for ridiculous damage.. enemies I used to struggle with are reletively easy to defeat now because of of it.

They have removed instant charge. I tried this it didn't work for me.
