3:23 nah, there is enough silk. At least in the directors cut. You can fully upgrade all of your armor just by doing all the quests in the base game. To get level 5 on all armor in NG+, you need to do all the quests again, and buy all of the silk off of Baku the Voiceless. So the amount of silk in the game is EXACTLY how much you need to fully upgrade all your armor. But I did not know about that silk trick which is really cool! Just remember me in case they patch it 😁
I know you said that Overdrawing increases the Knockdown Power of Drill Spikes by a whopping 50%! But I wonder if this is hard capped, and if Overdraw Coils can actually increase this any further? I know that some things in the game have hard caps, so I'm wondering if the Knockdown Power increase via Overdraw does too?
Would love to see you do a dedicated Knockdown/Critical Strike video! Knockdowns & Critical Strikes can be SUPER helpful on higher difficulties against small & mid sized machines, specially early on in a playthru. I find them to be SUPER helpful in dealing lots of damage fast! In fact, the new Grapple Strike ability is SUPER powerful in that it automatically gives a Resonator spot to shoot as well! Having an armor with a Crit Strike + Resonator Blast +2 perk makes this a VERY strong tactic to end small & mid sized machines quickly!
There isn't much they can do to make open loadout challenges difficult. Being able to bring all your gear in means experienced players should have no trouble with these even on Ultra Hard.
Yay!! I finally got caught up on what is happening. I have now watched all the HFWUH vods. I fast forwarded through some of the fights, but I’m caught up on the storyline. 😁
You miss out an very important thing.. once you unlock Alohomora level 1 with Gladwin, you can get most of your demiguise requirements in Hogwarts(less 1 which needed level2), hogsmaede and 1-2 village around. The trick is to fast track your alohomora to level 3 quickly so that you can explore every village and get every chests and gears thereafter without the need to revisit again.
I just wanted to thank you for the tremendous work you've done on all these very useful videos for us and that have helped us a lot to understand how this game works.
I think the wind upgrades are silly, a gold bird shows me literally every one of those things so I think 'wasting' technique points on the wind isn't useful
Do people really save state and farm to stack level 3 traits? I spent 30 minutes on the switch and I couldn't get concentration 3 so I just stopped trying.
Oh cool. The bots in the comment section are offering so many good licensed fiduciary investors whose names can be searched on the internet. ...with the SAME exact pattern. "The licensed fiduciary advisor i use is [bullshit name, mostly female]. They increased the amount of money i had invested by [some incredible amount]. You can search them by their name to set up correspondence, blah blah blah" Then some other fake profile responds: "Thanks. I searched them and they seem educated and well-read. I [have/will] reach(ed) out to them." Also, lots of these comments seem to be typed by someone with english as a second language by their use of syntax. 😐 Be mindful of scams here, friends.
FYI, if you do the side quest "Whispers in the woods", the silk spawn disappears. Is the quest in which you have to kill some bandits that are exactly in that camp (3:35). So, for now I'm skipping that quest because that silk farming method is awesome.
be carefull with iki island. when you go back to the main island, you will return with powerfull new gears, powerfull new ability and after fighting harder ennemy. I recommand to do not make Iki island so quick and whait to act 3 (or, at least, enf of act 2).
Wow... I gotta hard disagree with your Blast Forge build. You should ABSOLUTELY be using a combination of Crit Chance & the Crit Valor Surge with the Blast Forge. Anything else is wasting it's potential, due to not just the 2X Crit damage but the extra Crit damage from both the weapon Perk & Valor Surge, further upping the total damage to a level much higher than just using 5x 25% damage coils. In fact, you only need a single Crit Chance 15% coil to max out the Crit chance coupled w the Valor Surge if using Spread Blast. The rest you can load it with Close Range or Crit Damage coils. The damage potential of a Crit build on the Blast Forge has higher damage potential than ignoring Crit & going with 25% coils and Ranged Master Valor Surge, not to mention the fact that the Crit Valor Surge is one of the fastest building ones in the game, requiring a low Valor amount to recharge, much less than Ranged Master.
I love the game bot do I hate the bow. I'm used to nintendo using motion control so I suck at aming on ps. And for some reason I never get any better on aiming
Lol honestly, if you don't like the Hunting Grounds, then you probably shouldn't be watching these videos for advanced tactics anyway. I find the Hunting Grounds to be incredibly easy, so easy that ive never not completed a Hunting Grounds challenge in the 1st try before. I can't imagine a person sucking so badly that they'd struggle with them... And these videos are meant to make a player better. If a person watches all of these & STILL stinks at the Hunting Grounds, then they have a real problem. The fact that some of the best weapons merely require Hunting Grounds & Arena medals is incredibly convenient imo. It's like getting weapons scott free as far as I'm concerned. Not to mention the Hunting Grounds are a nice way to farm up resources very quickly!
So since tier 3 takes so long to farm do you just wait till you are likw lel 25 or something to lock in the gear scaling and upgrade them + do the traits at the same time?
I definitely think spending technique points on Guiding Wind items is a waste. You find all the fox dens and such just from exploring. I didn't unlock any of the Guiding Winds until I had all my other upgrades maxed out (which I did before the end of Act 2).
Very helpful to this NOOB!! I just started and haven't played that much but I'm already hooked and slightly impatient so these are extremely helpful! Thanks guy ;)
While a good tip for the silk, I’m not sure about the whole point of it being impossible have enough silk to fully upgrade all your armor in one playthrough. Through doing most side missions early on and grinding, I was able to upgrade all my armor to max before going to Iki Island in the end game. Not sure if it was just my luck, but I think most side missions or main story missions will reward you with it.
My mistake was growing attached to my horse ... going through Iki island with my first horse I grew attached before ACT 2. So now I am in lethal+ down 3 horse names .... If you know , you know ;<
well that settles it, I'm heading to the island. My first time through the game and I just hit ACT 2 after doing all the side quests in act 1 and now will journey to the island to unlock more goodness
I literally have completed everything on this game, all skins, all charms, everything maxed and all the achievements..... But I still lack the achievements where you have to complete the three stages against Iyo online and this frustrates me cause I don't have any friends that play Ghost
