If it was between the 1 cent and the mil, that would rock, 'cause that means you'd get the offer for half a million, and who'd be stupid enough to turn THAT down?
Ohh noo! The new editor made an accident on his second ever video which doesnt at all effect the entertainment value of the video!!! Unsubbed disliked rated 0 stars
+Hayley Seragaki You probably don't have OCD. People with OCD aren't detail oriented or perfectionist or stuff like that. You have OCPD, like Death the Kid if you like Soul Eater.
I actually know OnlyUsemeFeet! I got to school with him and he games with only his feet because he is in a wheelchair! He's a boss at fighting games too!
Calm down guys. Kevin tweeted that he posted the wrong rendered version and is extremely sorry. He also tweeted that "he'll make it up to us." He's new and I don't want to put out a bad image of the most rad community, or the lovelies.
I remember watching that one on RU-vid. It was lit, I was confused as to why it was £250,000 and not £1,000,000 because my tiny brain couldn't comprehend conversion rates
My God, these graphics are horrible. Literally every other Wii game played on here, especially the various game show games, at least look visually competant. This is barely PS1 level.
espurious For pretty much the same reason that JohnJohnsonLetsPlays said. It's a perfect backdrop for their banter. It wouldn't work for most people commentating over games yet for them it works perfectly.
Are you guys just gonna forget the time that Barry accidentally uploaded an episode with Jon and Arin's voices muted? I feel like that's a much bigger mistake than fucking up some meaningless text at the very beginning.
ONLYUSEmeFEET is a youtuber and he plays game with his feet because he cant use his hands LOL He got his name from another RU-vidr called ONLYUSEmeBLADE who played call of duty using knife only XD
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh No Deal.
OH GOD that audience is terrifying D: The soulless black eyes, the painted on mouths... I know it's a Wii game but couldn't they make the spectators just regular miis or something? Dear god D: Same with the women by the cases, just make them Mii's don't give them creepy doll eyes Dx I don't know what's worse, soulless black holes or dead dolls eyes shoved in a real human head
Don't worry about it Kevin, it must be a lot of pressure with all of us lovelies watching and you're probably still getting into the swing of things. Keep up the good work!
You know. I have to wonder if Kevin did the text like that on purpose, as a joke. Or to see how many people would point it out? Either way, I don't think they would release something with that big of a mistake not on purpose.
***** He's a beginner in the works of being one of the most radically awesome editors of all time (Next to our leader, Barry) Give him a break, people just realized he existed yesterday.
I wonder how old Kevin is.. The fact that he cut holes in his sleeve in order to make them "half-gloves" worries me. That said, I hope everyone doesn't get on his case about the names and such. I'd rather have a small mistake like that rather than him doing TOO much extra editing in an attempt to be overly funny.
Out of curiosity, why does his particular fashion choice worry you? It has nothing to do with his editing abilities. Not trying to call you out or anything, just genuinely curious about your train of thought.
SBCannon You can buy hoodies and coats with holes in the sleeves already. Hell, it has nothing to do with age, either. There are some coats worn by grown men with the ''glove'' built in (even in coats that cost a couple hundred dollars). It's become something of a practical application as opposed to a ''kid thing'' from school.
JohnJohnsonLetsPlays I thought it was kinda obvious that I was just nitpicking for laughs(at least I thought that was clear). Personally though, I DO think its kinda stupid to ruin a jacket like that when, like Acidic Apples said, they do sell jackets like that. His are clearly self-ripped. This is just my opinion though, I'm not gonna dislike the guy(or anyone) based on his sleeves. That wasn't even the main point of my original comment.
I'm not saying they're not allowed to make jokes about it, but, in fairness, Howie Mandel is more than a germophobe: he actually suffers from OCD, sometimes to a crippling extent. He sometimes has to isolate himself from his family because of his obsessive thoughts. Just putting out there. Food for thought.
we do it slightly differently in the uk. we get a bunch of normal people holding red boxes standing round a roundtable while they say fake condolences when they have a high value
Back in the day I would do film and TV extra work for spare cash. They would plant me on Deal or No Deal quite a bit. The actual gameplay and decisions would be real, but they would often redo takes to get a better reaction from the contestants or audience. That cracked me the fuck up.
Oh god, this is one of the most boring gameshows. At least trivia ones give people watching something to do. On the plus side, this is more entertaining than watching the show since... you know... it's not just the boring show.
***** Well yes, the laughter is entertaining and enjoyable. I don't, however, understand what is enticing about this gameshow for anyone other than the person playing it. It's not like you have any connection to them as people since it's always someone new. The gameplay is all decision based, meaning there's no puzzling elements for the audience to try and solve, nor is there any kind of challenge involved to see the participant overcome. So what is appealing about watching that? That's what I'm getting at.
***** Maybe I could feel something for them if I knew anything about them or felt some kind of struggle during the game or if the medium allowed them to show some kind of personality. But it ends up mostly as just watching someone randomly pick boxes. The equivalent of watching a stranger play the slots.
***** It's not that I don't care about them in general, but specifically I have no connections with them. It's just that, having a new person on every time makes it hard to really care when all you get is a face and name for the episode, and then they're gone and you never see or hear from them again. It's not like the show takes time to get us invested in the people enough to make us want to root for them if we like them or root against them if we don't. So without some kind of puzzle element for the audience to solve, some kind of physical feat to marvel in, or a personal connection created between them and the player, this gameshow has not much to offer in terms of watching it. Only in playing it. But I'm sure you'll try to come up with another clever one or two lines in response to try and sound cool again rather than considering what I'm getting at.
I always thought this game show was pretty boring too. And with the version we get screened here (the Australian one), the contestants are usually pretty obnoxious. The worst is when people try to have a "strategy". There's no point- the cases are random.
Why is the American version of Deal or No Deal so radically different from the British one? Ours doesn't have ugly women holding generic grey cases, we have old people and black men opening red boxes slowly because they can't figure out how to remove the strip of paper.
I hate how upset people are getting over Kevin's little mistake, seriously, all he did was leave half of a 'T' covered; Jesus H, how frickin' anal is this fanbase!?
Well they need to make Kevin's life as hard as possible. They did it to Dan so it's only right they do it to the new editor. Side note, I have a feeling it was intentional. If you look at where the T was cut off in the composition, it looked like it was where the orange background was layered. I don't see how that could have happened on accident. I've used the same editing software a lot and i've never known of this as a mistake. Sorry for being technical but I reckon Kevin did this on purpose. As odd as it sounds. The easiest way to set this up is to make the composition larger than the footage then add the background. Easy enough. So why is it only cutting half the T off? The only way I see this being a mistake is if he set up a safety border, but even if he did that then there would be no excuse for that mistake. you'd be able to physically see the error while typing the text. It just seems a little too intentional. especially since he was picked to be the new editor as well as Barry watching over him because it's his first time. However, he did make a notable Rookie mistake but this isn't the T. When he made the text animate to flip off the footage, it didn't leave the composition and the bit that was there still remained for a few seconds before hiding. You can't just delete text in animation but there are ways to hide it, most likely a quick opacity change in a single frame. Seems odd again but I think that was accidental.
nekusakuraba01 Well fair enough then. He must be talented to make that mistake. Out of interest I set up the same composition for the most efficient way (how i stated above) and i honestly dont know how he did that.
Good news! Game Grumps is still going after all this time. Never stopped, in fact. So you have plenty of episodes to catch up on! (I knew what you meant, I'm joking)
Yeah, Kevin made mistakes, but he said that he rendered the wrong version, is very sorry and will make it up to us. Everyone has to learn the ropes, and he'll pick up his speed if you just give some time! We've got your back, Kevin.
Green Link (Minish Cap Four Swords) It's when they're thanking the people who sent them the game. The text is off screen, and the longer names aren't written out completely.
Game Grumps"Just don't read the comments " god damn people are calling him horrible because hes second video he makes a mistake goddamn it do any of these people know how hard it is to edit?
7:37 reminds me of when i was a kid and had no idea what deal or no deal was so i used to get excited when they got super high numbers because i thought it was good
Kevin my boy, you need to adjust the pan/crop in vegas so the text doesn't maintain it's regular space so it doesn't have dead space anywhere where the bottom layer has regular space *kisses and hugs*
I feel like they're playing this Kevin thing off in a way to screw with us. So they start posting a new crappy Sonic game, and then there's a new member of Game Grumps. Sounds like another Grump I know of... Except this time it's different, because Kevin is the greatest Grump to ever exist ever. Good job Kevin. Gg. Gr8 m8. I r8 8/8. Seriously though, Kevin is yes
Not to poop on this party, but OnlyUsemeFeet is actually a very inspirational RU-vidr, he's disabled and can't use his hands so he's adapted to playing videogames with his feet, it's freaking awesome, check him out! :)
Everybody having a go at Kevin for that text mishap near the beginning need to chill. It's just a little error. Sometimes people make mistakes. He's new and it's no biggie.
Kevin,Kevin,Kevin that font you're using is just so, uninspired and boring. Compared to the font Barry used when he was the full time editor it lacks a lot of style and the oomph Barry's old font had. I'll be writing this down as strike one against you. Also, I feel that the new color for the font was a good choice.
GUYS first of all the name thing was only a joke from Kevin he just did it as a joke you can see when they are done he leaves a bit of blue there and it shimmies out of the screen and also give him time I mean if he didn't do it on purpose just let him be I'm sure Barry messed up on the first couple episodes of game grumps too.....he will get better soon give it time and it was probably just a joke.
This games makes no sense to play with fake money because you'll always just say "no deal" because saying "deal" would just end the game right there. The incientive to take the deal is completely gone when you don't actually get any money out of it...
