the arrogance of any Toyota dealer putting that red Tacoma on the lot in that condition for that inflated price. It's a Toyota dealer...get the body shop to fix the dent and clean up the bed/switch out the bed bolts. And remove that hideous Amazon "bull bar" and chuck that thing in the dumpster.

If dealers are asking sky high premium prices for used Tacomas then they should be immaculate and with good quality name brand tires not those cheapo ones!!

Transport Damage happening to vehicles before they get to the dealership to sell it are far more common than any of us want to know. You'd better believe, EVERY DEALERSHIP sells the new vehicle with newly repaired/ replaced body panels etc are sold as new never telling the consumer it's been wrecked.

Used Tacoma prices are still super high! Finding a solid truck will take time, lots of junk with high prices. Took me 2 years to find the used truck I was specifically looking for. First thing I do is look at the under carriage for rust, then the other things like lower mileage, the rusty bolts, weird dents, worn bed, too many weird modifications, etc.. Those are signs of abuse. Fresh paint, painted over scratches, misaligned panels, Of course it all depends on what you will use the truck for and what they are selling it for? That may not matter for a low price work truck? Check the carfax, too many owners, accidents, no out of state cars imported into your state, And, get a pre purchase inspection from a reputable mechanic, its worth the cash!

What's Up With All These Roof Dents. I Saw The Same Thing At My Local Toyota Dealership On 3 Tacoma's I Was Thinking of Buying. I've Been A Mechanic Since 1973 And Worked For Dealerships For 33 Years So I Check Everything And I Go To Look At Them On Sunday When Closed So Nobody Is Bothering Me. I Take My Time And Check Even Under The Truck. I Go In The Daylight And Stay Till It's Starting To Get Dark. The Parking Lot Lights Show The Roof Damages Better And Bring A Good Flashlight For The Sides. I Use To See Damage Happening When They Take The New Vehicle Off The Car Carrier Truck A Lot Since I Worked In The First Bay Near The Over Head Door. I Trust No One But ME. Dealerships Are Not Your Friend.

Rust on a Tacoma doesn’t mean much to me. What at $40,000 it does but I’ve seen so many Tacoma’s that are just their bodies are rusted and falling apart going through three and 4 foot deep models with no problem so a little rust doesn’t mean it’s not a cable off road vehicle but then you’re talking maybe 15,000 10,020 maybe

This shows CPO and dealer inspections are useless and meaningless on used vehicles. A buyer should fully inspect any car they are considering buying.

Tacoma with 63000 miles for $37k? I recently bought 2019 mint fully loaded Lexus ES 350 F-Sport Sedan with 36000 miles for $30k.

Save a few thousand and run down the road and buy a Nissan Frontier! No Mexico or turbos used in making them.
