I agree for $90,000 I rather buy a M3 or M5 competition Dodge hasn't changed anything much about the Chargers and the Challenger since 2015 when they first came out they all look the same
The dealership that I bought my scat at last year called me yesterday telling me they are taking 10k off a new challenger. I said that's nice and hung up. Already paid too much for my 1st one. Not about to do it all over again.
If anyone still has there 21's and 22's cars and trucks I would strongly suggest, that you keep them !! Because unfortunately all the Dodge last call 2023 cars and trucks, are having major quality control issues right now !!
Best thing I did, purchase my hellcat around a year after they came out before covid, sold it for the same price during covid. Drove it free for 3 years and sold it to people who hyped them up for some reason lol. Got to enjoy it before they were stealing them all for the price they are paying for scats now. My insurance at the time was only $114 plus I had renters insurance and a jeep on the same policy. Crazy what people will pay to own these cars for some reason, it is not worth it. Also, I paid 39k for my scat around the same time.
Agree with all you said. Dark days but question, what are your thoughts about Dodge going out of business potentially? How do you think that will impact values of current MOPAR owners?
If you're into the regular R/T you can get them new right now with discounts at a pretty great price depending on location of course. where im located dealerships are offering discounts on the lower trim models. An R/T my mom is looking at comes out to $34,999. $13k off MSRP and equals out to just over $1k more the MSRP of R/T's in 2018. Not bad honestly if all you're really caring about is getting a v8 over a v6.
That’s because people are not falling for that “last call” bs to justify the prices on these cars. It’s the exact same car from 2019 when the WB feature first came out. Nothing has changed but they want to now all of a sudden charge 10-20k more? They sound dumb. HC’s should’ve stayed in the 70-80k range and Scats should’ve stayed in the 30-40 range. That’s reasonable prices for these cars period.
Who would pay 70k for a skididity scat after fees 😂 Cats used to have msrp in the 60s and the scats used to have msrp 30s. Half the msrp is just the sticker they slap on the side of the car.
The consumers are tired of getting robbed by the salesmen/stealerships... and then the thugs that steal the cars instantly.... people are fed up 😡😡 Dodge caused a crazy hype with their "Last Call" gimmick causing the stealerships to jack up the prices and then the thieves got turned on to these hemis
Wait until after September bruh! You’ll get better insight on the car market AND you’ll hopefully get to buy your SCAT at a cheaper price and lower APR.
I have a 2017 Scat with perfect driving record and the cheapest insurance I can find is $260 a month. I'm 46. I'm also close to Mexico so might have something to do with it...
Had my hellcat over 4 years just now hit 10k miles mine isn't stock though so I'm not in a hurry to break things I'm pushing a little more power than is recommended on stock transmission but yeah if mine was stock I'd drive it a lot more.
I barely drive my car too because I have three more cars that I can drive. I drive it when I feel like it. Because I can't afford it I worked all my life for it.
Bought and paid for. Had 2015. Scat trade it in pay the rest in cash for my 2020 scat. Nobody in his right mind least his cars except people who can't afford to pay and looking for a cheap car note.
Facts .. I got the 300c at msrp with a cool interest rate and still drop 1k a month plus insurance and 40 dollars every 2 days at the gas pump lol 😂 this ain’t for everyone..
If they changed it to anybody with good or bad credit score can come put 5k down on a scat or cat guaranteed those dealerships would be packed with customers💯
@TylerStaecker Hello if you don't have any problems with your 22 Dodge Challenger Scatpack R/T muscle car I would keep it !! Because unfortunately all these Dodge 23's last call cars and trucks are having major problems with quality control issues !!!
@@erictate8986 I haven’t had any problems honestly. I do all of my own maintenance and haven’t launched it yet. But I agree 💯% that the last calls are booty .🤣 2more years and I’m done with payments. Then I can do what I want to it and enjoy it for as long as I can. Appreciate the advice 💯
For RU-vid clown it’s an investment. I made $672 of content last month. Yes it nothing compare to other RU-vidrs but that’s half of my note how is that not and investment? How? Man y’all mf just talk for no reason.
Another mf that hate his mf job ain’t got shit going on but yea here worry about another man and what he does with his life. Nigga live your life and stop worrying about what another person do with there’s.
Dm so I can show you how much I made of RU-vid content in the last 3 months. Dm @alex_the_ricann I will show you. And one more thing do yourself a favor worry about you. Don’t be too invested in someone else life it sets you back
@@Alex23_01 Dude got all riled up. Sorry bro. I keep on getting your video in my feed and lucky for you ,I click on them. You said in your older video that you bought your car because it’s gonna go up in value because it’s “a Hellcat”which are now rare and will be scooped up pronto quick. Now you saying it’s an investment because it pays half your car note. These shits now rusting prematurely, cracking glass for no reason, engines now blowing up. Go watch TK Garage channel or Butter the insider or OC motivator. But then again, I’m a hater, right? I’ll stick with my garbage ass CTS-V. That car has an Inline 6.
And then dodge gotta remember who tbeir clientele is its not BMW or other foreign cars, and then alot of people gotta remember when they were selling hard alot of people were getting that PPP loans and scamming.
Glad to know you're happy with your purchase Sir. As a Sr. Finance Mgr. and HC owner...the average person shouldn't even think about buying a car right now, especially a Hellcat. Their 9 years old ghetto mobiles now and not worth the price...the luster is gone, BMW took the crown. I now drive an M8 convertible, what a difference.
I think what he's saying is there hasn't been any changes to the car so the hellcats are essentially 9 yr old vehicles and cost a fortune. A lot of people want to put their money elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, I still think hellcats are awesome.
@guypoulin6929 Your correct...I still have love for my Hellcat but...between the dealers and the idiots...the luster for me is gone. I still drive it once in a while.
Getting a hellcat is not next level. Buying a house is grown people shit. Had a house since I was 25. All you have to know is you don't want to be bum.
I’m sorry bud, I respect your dream car, and it’s beautiful. However, That’s not worth $90k , that’s car been having same engine and chassis for more than 15 years, it just has been revise and tune. With inflation I can say $75 and that’s pushing it, not $90k. Again, gorgeous car, but you been a tad bias. Good luck bud
I have to disagree with you UNC. Anyone who is mechanically inclined can work on these Gen 3 Hemi's. HPTuners and some wrench skills and you can figure out anything you need to know about these new platforms. The problem here is that most folks are scared to tear a new vehicle apart.
The cars are just bad investments now. Anyone with a 23 and up 95% likely over payed. Definitely not worth 90 anyone in car culture knows. BMW are updated car dodge current design is 15 years old
I should have listened to the whole video before commenting lol I only disagree with thing u said ,to me the car is not worth 90 grand at all but agree to disagree, overall this was my fav video thus far 😅
