Personally, when things don't go as I planned or wanted them to turn out, I allow myself to feel all the things I need to feel. Just don't get stuck in the emotions, talk them out with your Lord. Stick on your prayers, recite Quran, make dua and as Nouman is mentioning in the end, keep moving forward. Take som kind of action that is improving your state of well being. For me it is usually making someone else feel good/good deeds, or completing a promise I've made to myself. May Allah grant all of you Jannah
Adding to what NAK said- whatever difficult life situations we go through..we learn from it and grow on and became a better person to appear before Allah.. every difficult situation is leading you to Allah..this life is a love story between you and Allah...know it and you will accept everything going on in your life...if difficult situation is leading you to Allah..it is a test and not punishment..have tawakkul
Alhamdulillah what you said is veryyy true....if we don't turn towards Allah in difficulty we will end up in depression.... connect to Quran and you will get the power through which we can fight any situation.
It's just a delusion that the other person has got it all right and easy...I have personally struggled with this delusion for a long time...now I'm trying to break off this way of thinking in myself. May Allah guide us all in setting our priorities right. Ameen
I think if one has the option allowed by allah to get out of the trouble ,one is facing, they should go for that. But there are circumstances where one has no other option than to submit oneself to the situation ,at that time, we should be positive and keep asking allah swt for his rehma . And indeed this life is short and whatever hardships we face we will get the reward for that inshallah. One more thing we should study the life stories of prophets, how much problems they have faced,.by that we can get some strength to face the problems

I swear I wanted something has been waiting for it 6/7 months and prayed for it in tahhajud every day but I did not get when I heard the news that I got rejected I cried at stop cried like a baby but the very first words that came out of my mind was I know Allah you have better plan I know whatever you do you do out of your perfection forget me I'm just human being I can't control my emotions but I know that you know the best for me and after one month when it was unexpected I got it something even better what I could not even imagine ❤️

Alhamdulillah, I just realized its true. "In every difficulty, there is ease" whenever I'm in very difficult situation and depressed and in pain, I ask Allah for his guidance, to easy my pain at night and in the very next day I become happy again, most of the time my loved ones will visit me and somehow do random stuff and unexpected things to make me happy again. I am always very fearfull because of my father and his family. I've never been able to stand for my mother because of that fear. I feel like I've failed as my mother's daughter. For many reasons I suffer from depression. I even struggle to read salah. Whoever reads my comment, please make dua for me that May Allah give a halal job within this year, so that I can look after my mother's needs. And May Allah get me married to a good hearted and kind man, who would always support me and stand for me because my father never did that for me. Moments of devastation is when our faiths are really tested. Are you going to turn to Allah completely or associate partners with Him or turn to Shaitan. We have to look for reasons to remain grateful in this moments by looking at people worse than us and examples from Qur’an and Sunnah. Also learning to appreciate Allah before calamity is a great idea and anticipating how Allah may test you before those test happen is a good idea. May Allah protect us from the trials and life and death. I hope this lessons from my experience helps someone insha Allah 🙏🏽

That's it." This is very true. There has been times in my life where I experienced such a dark period and when I self reflected, Allah was saving me in advance. I just couldn't see it yet. No matter how painful something is, there are hard lessons that need to be learned so we can grow and do better next time. It's hard to accept sometimes, but the growth is so raw. It's comforting knowing that Allah wants what's only best for us. So it's always a win win situation. Easier said than done, but it's doable.❤
In my own experience, the matter was less about what was happening and more about not wanting to hurt no matter what happened. Part of my growth was learning to sit down and allow myself to feel the pain for what it was and give that pain an honest opportunity to be felt. Certainly I didn't go looking for pain, but I felt guided to know that however much it hurt, I was going to come out the other side....and maybe even be a better person for it. The single greatest blessing was learning that I could survive Hurt even when it might feel overwhelming. FWIW.

In the very beginning of the quran Allah said “Indeed, I know what you do not know.”, yes, it is very hard to contain your own emotions in moments of pain and sadness, but if sth is not going according your plans, then truly Allah wants sth better for you or maybe protects you from worse. In short, force positive outlook to your thoughts and train that whenever you feel like that negative sprial is coming up. Acknowledge your feelings and try to accept that you are only a human being that can only do much. New possibilities usually come up when some time has passed and the best we can do is being patient and trust Allah in that manner. After a while you will see the blessings in disguise. Never forget that Allah only wants good for you. In the end he knows best.

I think what it looks like in practice is Acts of gratitude. Be actively thankful in times of distress for instance "I'm thankful i have heat in my house, thankful i have a bed to sleep in, thankful i have clean bedsheets, thankful i have a bedframe, etc. I do this to the degree that the disappointment no longer weighs me down in the moment. May Allah swt help us all. Ameen❤
Jazakallah ustad. this world was designed by Allah subhantallah in a way we are experienced and everyone is in a difficulty n sufferings n we should focus on to move . وَٱلْعَصْرِ ١❤ By the ˹passage of˺ time! إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ ٢❤ Surely humanity is in ˹grave˺ loss, إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ ٣❤ except those who have faith, do good, and urge each other to the truth, and urge each other to perseverance.
When the prophet saw died...was it just hard on the companions..or his family?...the trials they faced were much harder than anyone has ever imagined...we gain sabr and support from remembering them.
