I woke up wanting to talk about loss and how I've dealt with it. Dealing with grief is always hard, but it can be extra difficult around the holidays. This has been such a tough year and I thought it would be healthy to acknowledge it. If you have lost someone and are struggling with the coming holidays, in this video I share things I wish I knew and tips that have worked to help me heal.
This video is long because it is very raw and only lightly edited. I wanted to keep the video honest and real. I also chose not to cut out the moments when I cry. Emotions are natural and they're not something that you need to hide or feel ashamed for expressing. I'm still greatly affected by the loss of my mom, but I've grown so much and I'm proud of that.
I'm proud of you too.
You deserve to grieve at your own speed.
