Are you familiar with such a disgusting thing as “applique”? This is when you try to separate your sword from someone else’s blade, but it still remains connected. Then, of course, there is a competition to see who has more experience in the end. And who could get more benefit from provoking Batman with the blade. But the fact is that a fencer who understands how leverage works will hand you his sword in a convenient position so that you want to find an easy way to dislodge someone else's sword with a blow to the blade. I've never heard of applique, at least not specifically called that, there's a few bits of bindwork that sound similar, but definitely not something we train to a high level yet 😁 Definitely another one for me to read up on!! Thanks so much for letting me know 👍
