How can you watch this video, watch the series, observe their relationship and think that it's completely family and platonic love? It's more than that (and by that I don't necessarily mean incest, their relationship is just on another level of connection, it's weird, it's codependent, that's the show)

God, I love how Dean is so protective and possessive of Sam... He wants him all to himself. I get a tiny bit of secondhand embarrassment in that scene where he tells the couple about Sam's puppy eyes. Dean doesn't take two seconds to think of how crazy and whipped he sounds rambling on about how cute and convincing his brother can be, lol. The severe codependency is definitely one of the main reasons I love this show. It's so messed up, but delicious and makes for fascinating TV. The chemistry is undeniable. Nice vid! I never get tired of these scenes.
Same! I don’t understand die hard fans of this show who talk about how they needed to heal the codependency. It’s what makes the show so great. I think it also displays an interesting take on platonic love and how that can be more than enough to make some people happy. Although I do like the Winchester angle as well.

Don't get me wrong, these moments are adorable. But it kinda baffles me how everyone thinks it's incest. Not every human on Earth has the "I hate my sibling but I'd die for them" mindset, some siblings are genuinely nice to each other a lot of times.
There's is no weird incest crap involved in this, he thinks of Sam as his baby brother, they've been through so much together, they're the definition of family and dean cares about him so much because he's all the family dean has left.
Wtf are these comments?😧, I watched this and all this confirmed to me is how codependent they are because of their trauma and the fact that they didn’t have any reliable parent figure, so dean had to become that parent. If anything their relationship isn’t like two brothers but more like a dad and his son, there is absolutely nothing romantic about it. if you haven’t felt a level of devotion like this for your siblings/platonic friends then maybe you don’t have a good relationship with them, there is absolutely NOTHING that screams romance because they are brothers😟

As someone who has a younger brother and looked after him for most of their life, I can say that this is completely normal. There is nothing in this world that I wouldn't do for him, and we both know that. As well as the fact it's different for him. That he wouldn't go to the same lenghts for me as I would for him. And that is fine. I am actually glad that he wouldn't. This is just what being the oldest is like, especially when growing up under terrible circumstances

Literally every other scene is him looking out for his brother when it’s not ripped out of context. Y’all literally hyper fixating on small bits of dialogue and tryna make it sexual. The opening clip is literally him wondering if Sam is okay. They literally hunt monsters together and could both die during any hunt. I’m pretty sure dean thought Heaven would be different. But more importantly, did y’all forget Sam was drinking demon blood and set LUCIFER free? IIRC, later in the episode Joshua basically tells Sam that he should be in Hell. So I’m guessing the answer he was hoping for was alive because he assumed Sam could be in Hell otherwise. And if you’re gonna give me shit for assuming, my assumption doesn’t require two brothers to be an incestual relationship to make sense.
Maybe there may be a different context in the first scene, but then he meets a soulless Sam and asks if this is heaven. Because any place is paradise if Sam is there. He doesn't check if Sam is a ghost, demon, vampire, because it doesn't matter. He's his brother, the reason he's alive. Dean searches for it after his eventual death, and this heaven is "almost perfect", which Bobby comments that "he" will be here soon. Bobby doesn't ask who Dean is looking for, he knows it's his brother. Dean's greatest treasure is HIS Sam and he would do anything for him. Whether it's physical - not necessarily, or obsessive - of course
They are good brothers they have each other only mostly. Why ship it romantically, honestly theres sibling love, sibling like love, friendship love and romantic love but everything everyone is being romanticized and specialized like its always romantic type love to people and nothing else its more like just seeing what you want to see and not seeing what is actually there.
@@fantasyland3646 that's kind of the point of shipping, i think. Knowing what it is but choosing to interpret it in another way for your ship, seeing things from a different point of view. I personally love to see everything as a romantic interaction, especially if the characters are just friends or family. I actually don't like the ships when they're canon, it's very rare that I do. I think that's what shipping is about, to explore the different dynamics of characters, what they could have and not what's already there
