I liked Abbe Lane. Saw her at the Town & Country Nightclub with Cugat ,in Brooklyn , N.Y. early 60s in think. I met her in Ratners Dairy Restaurant on 2nd Ave in NYC ,she was with her new husband. I was about 16 and I was wearing a French beret. Abby, told me she loved my hat. That was so sweet of her. Im probably one of the few people who bought her vinyl LP. I still have it to this day. My cousin Charlie Klaif always did the Sullivan show with Cugat, my cousin was an excellent Latin piano player.
