When Jerry said “if you liked the show tonight, we’d appracite it if you’d...” I almost thought he was going to say “ ...Like, subscribe, and hit that notification bell!”
This one clip has it all! I love how free and happy they look at the end. Jerry's skill in switching up his voice and his facial expressions, at a moments notice, is so remarkable. I think people miss the subtlety and incorrectly dimiss him as just broad and crazy, but there is always a specfic intention behind the movements, reactions and expressions. Just going from his "serious face" to the recognition that the photo is his mother, for example, is subtle but fully committed and tells an entire story in 2 seconds. So much of what he does is so well executed. He's in on the jokes, he is creating them, commenting on them and enjoying them with us all at once. It's truly fascinating to watch and i never get tired of it!!
Singing, dancing, comedy, acting what a talent, what a sight, i love them both so much. I got a crush on Dean Martin before i realized he had already passed away, i am stumped i am sad i am born in the wrong era and i really envy all the people who got to meet these giant entertainers on their prime.
with every one of these colgate comedy hours i watch i think jerry and dean can't get more adorable, and then something like the pinky finger incident happens. ♡♡♡
Dean had years of developing his voice and confidence as a strong consistent lead singer. Jerry stayed busy being what he was supposed to be for the duo. But I sing professionally and I can tell Jerry had the goods to be a singing star. The reason they were so successful is each guy stayed in his role.
pretty sure he released albums and notably subbed for Judy Garland live when she couldn't perform once. Did pretty well, too. Even did her signature number.
@@johnfoster4244 99% sure. You're not gonna make google, are you? lol. Even Judy confirmed it. EDIT: Oh yeah. Almost forgot. Nice to get a reply to a 3 yr old comment, but you're not my record. i got one reply from a comment that was 10 yrs old. I call it "waking the dead" (Adams Family)
This is just so very wonderful! I love Jerry and Dean. There just isn't anything close to this type of talent around these days! It's sad these aren't played on some type of network, it beats the SNL skits any old day!
The Original ( Bro-Mance). No kinky stuff...Just two men who needed each other growing up and stuck together through a lot. Too bad Dean's wife had to be so petty and jealous of Jerry and planted those demon seeds in Dean's mind. Glad they made up and communicated a lot in the end. RIP both these class clowns who made good. Heaven is laughing it's ass off now that they are together again. Awww Memories.
No one could take a fall like Jerry. It’s a shame he hurt his back doing what he loved and subsequently fell into opioid addition due to the chronic pain
I love the parts where where Dean and Jerry fool about in front of their band.If you like us send us two dollars! Cool sensible Dean and the idiot was a great formula. Well do you know the number I don't know the number. Gotta love em.
miruna268 I got to it as soon as I could after working out the problems of plowing the field. Turns out it wasn’t my land. It was the neighbor’s corn field and chicken coup
