Those Step Brothers were great. I did to see them dance they could burn rubber. It was only 4 of they were great. I was just a kid but remember. Seeing them on TV. Dean could hang with them. Dean would try anything. Love Him.
The clips of Martin & Lewis with the Four Step Brothers are masterpieces: part art, part comedy, and part gymnastics. I think they appeared together at least 3 times on the Colgate Comedy Hour. After Dean completed one of the shows with them that involved particularly rigorous dance moves, Dean approached the camera on stage, out of breath, and hilariously said, "Oy Vey!"
He’s v fast reaction. When danced with The Step Brothers- he’s surprised me! My most enjoyed/laughed on this episode. Dean Martin has loads of good qualities in himself. A beautiful human, as a person. Great entertainer, as professional careers. He’ll always be remembered.
Dean had a great show Dean could dance sing do just about anything he had a lote of talent. He was great. Sid and Newhart were great for laughs. Singin in the rain.
The step brothers and Dean goes clear back to Jerry and him on The Colgate Comedy Hours. He Porform with them way back then so they was friends from way back when.
I loved seeing the Step Brothers dance they were great so was Dean had a lote of talent he could just about anything when he put his mine to it. Love him.
The Steps Brothers was on Dean and Jerry program back on the 50's. Back then Dean and Jerry both got into the act. They ate great, they was book both on Dean and Jerry separate show. I truly enjoyed them on Dean's program cause Dean got right in the mix , Dean was my type of Entertainer.
Toni Wilson Oh, mine too Toni! One of the (many) things I loved about Dean was that he was always willing to have a go at ANYTHING and never cared if he might look silly. In fact, he was always the first one to laugh at himself if he messed up - and always with that wonderful million-megawatt smile that looked like he was having a ball !!
I knew Maceo Anderson was in Christian group.. He always try to kiss me lol.. He try to teach me tap.. I played to much he kick me out... Great teacher and friend.. Rip. Love you Maceo
But he didn’t do too bad for a middle-aged man who’d been a heavy smoker all his life!🚬 And I noticed @4.06 that he seemed to be channeling his Uncle Leonard Barr, who was a well known ‘eccentric dancer’ whom Dean had often featured on his shows, both when he was with Jerry and later when he went solo after they split up. I’m pretty sure that Leonard must have taught Dean some of those steps when he was growing up in Steubenville.
Oscar Robinson Obviously Dean wasn't a trained dancer but he did pretty good at 'faking' it, especially as he must have been getting on a bit here. The video isn't dated but it was on his own show, which started in 1965, so he must have been at least in his late 40s. And there are older videos on You tube which show him and Jerry dancing with the Step Brothers on the Colgate Comedy hour when they were still together.
