You talk about opioids in the milk powders etc then you talked about or mentioned pop ups. Do you think pop ups work well due to their high milk powder content as much as the flavours that get added?
inherent food value of the ingredients certainly plays a part. However not all pop up mixes are the same. One mix could be 10 times more attractive than another without any liquid flavours or essential oils added.
Personally I’ve never used it to a great deal as on paper it doesn’t bring anything of value to the party that you can’t get elsewhere more efficiently. The few times I’ve used it I haven’t been overly impressed either. Of course that’s not to say it isn’t a good ingredient, just my opinion and limited experience with it.
