I like your attitude. Now here's a very broad question. All of your reviews so far, with just one exception, are of whiskies aged 15 years or less. So broadly speaking, shelling out loads more for older whiskies, 18yrs plus etc etc, is it worth it?
Hmmm.... that all depends on the person and what that extra old whisky note is worth.... in short, some yes some no. For example in my case I would say the Glenfiddich 26 yo excellent is Worth It... but not every day... more of a special occasion... but for someone that has just started drinking Whisky probably not.... good question... no easy answer....

Yes, of course, no easy answer beyond saying older not always better by any means.The way I look at it is that a good younger whisky should be capable of being a satisfying destination in itself, not merely a step on the way up to the Mt Olympus of older, pricier releases.
